I ended up with some interesting shiny in the pipe this week. Got a black Occula rda inbound along with a Godmod Overlord and some assorted Unicorn Vapes goodies as soon as AR credits my rewards ponts. Should make for a fun weekend for vaping.

Also, this Strawberry Jam Cookie has officially graduated to squonkable status.

Sweet, strawberry jam with a cookie finish. Really nice and really sweet, although it hasn't destroyed my cotton like I assumed it would. Definitely a contender for my top 20 overall and for my top 5 strawberry vapes. Chain vaping it at 130W on some quad-core Ni80 fused claptons is transcendental.

I have had my eye on the brushed steel OhmBoy since I got it in rubberized red. It is one of my favorite mods and I love everything about it except the lack of a spare bottle. I did purchase 3 more bottles for it in various colors. Ironically, I am rocking the Apocalypse on mine right now with quad core Ni80 Claptons in it too.

So got around to building the dvarw dl clone. Not crazy about the coil I installed, twisted fc, and not happy with the rayon wick but the flavor makes it well worth investing in the authentic and vv mtl clapton wire. First time I've been able to taste the rayon so strongly and I primed the wick like usual; half a tank later and still a strong taste. Thankfully the authentic will be a 6ml straight glass as the bubble looks awful.

Does that clone come with only the bubble glass?? That's a rather poor selection. I've held off looking at those as I've been obsessing with my recent squonking, but I'd like to give one a spin, but not necessarily am authentic until sold on the design, and certainly not with that bubble glass thing going on.

No it only comes with a plastic tank. The bubble is something Jai Haze found out that fits.

I believe the authentic comes with a polycarbonate tank section and you have to then buy either a glass of ultem replacement as well if you use juices prone to damage plastic. I still can't understsnd why a $100 or more rta should make you pay extra for a glass or Ultem tank when that should be standard. Include the plastic if people are afraid of breaks with glass but I can't understand the current reasoning of reversing the two.

He has congestive heart failure. It was retry bad when I first got him to the vet, so much fluid he could hardly breathe because it was crushing his trachea. Been a few months though and the meds seem to be helping. But he’s 15 ( maybe older, they guessed him to be 2 when I got him) and doing alright for an old guy.

Oh, this makes me sad. Fifteen is a good age, though, and critters can muddle along for quite a while with congestive heart failure, at least. Georgia will be at a loss when he goes, I bet. You'll have to get her a puppy.

A liter of unprotonated 100mg/ml nic base
A couple or 3 liters of VG
A half liter of PG

The big variable is the base. The last stuff I got was junk, and almost degraded by the time I got it. I’m throwing half of it away.
The question is what’s good reliable and cheap? I’ll probably cut it into 250ml bottles and freeze em, and get the PG and VG from the same place for simplicity. I don’t normally use PG at all, but it occurs to me having a bit of it around could be useful.

So any ideas on a good place to go for clean nic?

I heard something about Carolina vapes which implies good US made nic. All things being equal I’d prefer to buy American. Last time I did it was from wizard labs and the nic was unusably awful though. Is the Carolina vapes stuff any good?

I just ordered my first order of DIY stuff. All I can say is don't do like I did. My order is doing the slow haul from California to Florida, in all this heat.

We are in the 70s and 80s here for the next 2 weeks it looks like. Don't know how hot it is there but through the SW desert your nic should stay nice and cool. I have ordered from Heartland in June before and my nic was fine after the trip.

I have a liter of the premium stuff. Maybe, and it's a big maybe, if I only vaped unflavored it might be a tad better. I got it only because when they first came out with it about 2 years ago the special launching price made it the same as the regular. Otherwise for routine mixing the standard 1 liter for ~$44 is fine. Even comes in a nice black plastic box like bottle so easy to stack until you get around to breaking it down into smaller bottles.
