Hi folks.

So let me tell you about this afternoon's epic quest. It doesn't involve a dark lord, or wizards but it certainly involves rings... o-rings specifically. Got a new clone tank from fasttech this morning and the top fill cap which is supposed to come off easily was practically welded on. It seems in their wisdom the techno mages at YTFK used an o-ring nearly as thick as an industrial tyre. So muppet here decided to try and find a more appropriate one.

Boxes upon boxes of RTA's and rda's were opened but every o-ring was either too big or too small. In the end after three hours of fruitless searching I finally found the ideal one, just lying around in a nondescript box all on it's own. Motto of this story is to buy more o-rings and label all the packet sizes to save myself the bother.

If you really want up be self sufficient and are on the younger side (never really know with folks around here) Heartland does offer this which will see you through any sort of apocalypse, vape, zombie, nuclear, and whatnot, especially if you DL vape

View attachment 812987 That's actually a bargain as only a year ago that was $9K. Granted, breaking it down will take you some time, but it does work out to only about $30 and change per liter. Can't beat that.

And if you have a decent size backyard and use a lot of VG, Bill Apothecary is great for larger deliveries like this.

Hey, no one ever said prepping would be easy. But with that, some solar panels and a wind turbine, you could stay off the grid for generations knowing your grandkids would never have to worry about finding juice out in the desolation.

Me thinks the bombastitor is going to need a bigger syringe.

Yes, cool dark place if it will be months before you use them.

You probably know this but vet said you have to give them roadkill before release so they know what to eat. I am afraid with cat food, they might become dependent on you but hey, what do I know.

My mystery delivery got held up in Germany so didn't arrive in Marseille until mid morning so it missed the delivery wagon. It'll come out early tomorrow I expect....only thing I can think of is that it's some more products to review...I ususlly get notified about those so still a mystery

I picked it up on the classies here but I'm not gonna volunteer that info too easily. The last two companies I had service experiences with didn't request any original purchase info, so I'm just gonna wing it. If that fails, I'll DM Ohmboy about it but I don't really expect any problems. They're on holiday until next week, so I'll see what they say when they get back.

SMM's new RDA looks interesting. I like the chunky look of it and the AFC is innovative. The deck is basically a re-engineered velocity. Pretty cool.

I placed another DIY order today. Looking at recipes and losing recipes has my head hurting. I did find a 30ml syringe for target practice.

My terrapins had me up all night. I have cameras on all the nesting boxes and got 13 alerts between 2am and 8am. If I ignore the alerts and don't switch the cameras to record I won't know exactly where they laid. Each box has 250 lbs of play sand in them, so 6 little eggs can be hard to find. The video below is of the female that laid a nest two weeks ago. It looks like she's sniffing the sand in this video looking for another spot. She'll lay 2-3 more clutches before seasons end.

Every alert ended up being false alarms, not one laid.
