My chefs stuff is coming! The courier/husband is bringing it.
I have not updated the shinies on my jaw, but it's definitely infinity times better than it was. I really think the bleach/toothpick thing is working but I'm going to do another 10 days of abx just in case.
I did some online research and bleach is TOTALLY respected by those in the know. I will probably be using bleach for the rest of my life, it's the periodontics equivalent of like, "Every other thing that is expensive."
It's pretty great. IDK probably at some point I will have to chill on the toothpick thing, because I can see damaging the tissue causing it to grow back and it doesn't even hurt, really, but I'm guessing at some point I can just brush with bleach.
It's funny other than my gum being thin my doc was in total approval of my dentures, their state of cleanliness, and my actual implants. At first he was guessing "how' I lost my teeth and I was like, no, dude, I had all 24 removed at once I was 33 and like, all this dental stuff has been awake because I don't do opiates or sedation.... Ever.
Then I was like, "gum grafting may be a step too far.... And no
insurance company would pay for the ibogaine I'd have to smuggle into the country at great risk, so PLEASE give me an option."
LOL then he was all like, "Who are you? Do you work here? What do you do, etc."
He said everything must be so great because I appreciated what I had. And I was like, "If you mean I take care of my implants YEAH paying for them sort of got me there fast..." He mostly sees folks who just sort of gently let their teeth rot away etc.
But yea better, also got a nice and healthy report on how the team feels things are going at work: everyone is happy. Me, too! I love that team, I love my patients so far, it's all good.
