Good morning shiners! Looks like the Axial is landing a day early and will be in my hands this afternoon. Now the debate if wait for the weekend to have something to play with, or just build it out today and vape. I know, tough decision, but I think we all know what the answer will be.

Good morning everyone. Not even going to TRY. I just paid for my refurbished Procyon to be sent back to me and I am super happy. I like to think I might put it away for a rainy or tragic day, but I know me. Nothing beats the Procyon and I have some tube mods already stashed away that suck (comparatively) so I can vape them THEN. LOL.

Something about the size and heft of that mod suits me just perfectly. Oh maybe a Dicodes tube would do it, but I kind of don't think so somehow if only because the menu system would probably drive me bonkers.

I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 4 am. Sigh. Too early to go back to sleep, too late to be reasonable. Dentures in MOUTH (that is the worst, I removed them immediately.)

You know? Lots of downsides to dentures. Anyway I am trying to get caught up. Unfortunately also trying to get caught up on NOTES, as my job is being like the Gulag about them as the end of the year approaches. I have spent way too many evenings writing notes and etc ice fixing them and stuff. NO MORE I can only tolerate Adderall half a pill extra dose so many times.

Also, my thyroid med is on the fritz. It's like "gone out of production" which I guess happens. It would have been easer to take if she had like, called in the scrip TWO WEEKS ago when I asked. I have been calling every day. SO super not happy. Gotta call the CVS today.... Sigh.

I am subjecting my body to these weird dosages with like the 12 tablets I have left that are wrong and it sucks but you can only split a pill so may ways.

it's really making me NOT want to decrease my dosage like my doc wants. Not even a little bit.

I wish the FDA would like focus more on me getting my meds?

Although I must say Adderall is sort of easy in Cochise County compared to Pima County. Pima County had some kind of drug ring and not in a good way? You pretty much have to submit to a body scan and a DNA test to get what you need.

My pdoc keeps wanting me to take more. While it is true that like, you can take more and be more functional in the evening, I have no clue when I would actually EAT.

He's all like, "Go ahead, take THREE!" and I'm like "gulp.' In fact one time he accidentally like prescribed me 4 20 mg tablets a day. I don't know what his deal is, perhaps he finds me very unfocused. I kind of teased him about it without pointing out it was a prescribing error on a Quite Heavily Scheduled med."

So yeah, FDA forget the eicgs and get me my pills damnit this is no way to live

Mine's arriving a day early too. We can be Axial bros!

I really need some new gear to play with too, because I've been window shopping stuff I don't normally buy again. Yesterday I was thinking Fagan's Bulk RTA was looking interesting. It's basically the same deck as the BTFC which is severely underrated, IMO. It's 28mm at the base though, so maybe I need a new regulated mod to go with it and so on... I'm not even an RTA vaper, really. Pfft.

It is one of the better rda's for sub ohm vaping that appeared last year.
As you've done. A big nichrome alien or similar is perfect. Looks interesting too.
I have a quad core clapton in it at the moment. The only downside is the small juice well. Gotta be careful not to over squonk.

Unfortunately when patents run out, drugs are no longer as hugely profitable and manufacturers drop them from their production schedule in favour of pills that make big cash.
Funny enough, just like the drugs cartels. (I used to work for a huge pharmaceutical company).
One of my daughter's was prescribed lithium years back which as you'd expect, fried her thiroid so she's also going to be a lifelong tablet taker.
It's the perfect scam. One drug to treat one thing creates five more issue's, which coincidentally the maker of the original pills also own the patent for the pills for the side effects from the original pill.
One hand washes the other. Like a magic money making riddle.

There's a shortage of several medications right now as the manufacturing facility that handled several generic drugs had to close down for a bunch of production problems that the FDA insisted be fixed before resuming operation. As generics are older, off patent and no FDA exclusivity for the brand names, they typically get shuffled into secondary facilities that make a range of meds as subcontractors to different generic drug companies. If their production lines are shut down for violations there may not be any approved backup facility to pick up the slack. It's a common problem, and really disrupts older but needed medications. There is to my knowledge no info on when they will resume operations. I believe they're somewhere outside Philadelphia in PA.

While it's obviously better to have no production problems resulting in defective medications, this stuff does happen and I would rather see the problems corrected rather than turn out sketchy meds. I'm dealing with just that problem on a med my daughter takes and it's frustrating when you really need it.

That would make us BiAxial!

I never got the BTFC but I did hear good things about it. It seemed overkill for my vape style. I have several dual coil rdas, and like the bottom air type setups, but keep returning to my small single coil attys. I'm looking forward to see how the Axial works out.

The airflow on the BTFC makes it tricky to drip but the combination of bottom and side makes for some great flavor. It's easier to handle in squonk mode but you can't really chain vape it since it relies heavily on the capillary action of the wicks. It's worth the extra work IMO, but it's also probably why it's not as ubiquitous as some of the more popular RDAs.

Since I know some of you are reviewers, would you look at my first ever review and see if it is ok?

Geekvape Tengu RDA

Looks good! It's been a long time since I've written a review, might have to give it a shot when the Apocalypse gets here.

We also have those. My son's favorites are Sorry, Yahtzee and Monopoly. He is ruthless at Monopoly.

I'm a little late jumping in but I'm gonna jump in anyway...

My two favorite games are Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly.

My daughter was never actually very good at monopoly, or she was just so much younger that she was always the one to lose first.

Well it's no fun if your out of a family game, and as I was always the banker I would slide money and/or the occasional house out of the bank and into her hand.. it was no big deal everyone knew and it was an unspoken agreement. Playing was what was fun and no sense in her sitting out.

Well, one summer my sister's kids came to stay for a couple weeks and oh wow.. apparently my sister had no such penchant for keeping the children in the game, because when we tried to play monopoly with my niece and nephew, not 20 minutes into the game the boy was crying saying we were cheating and all traumatized because we didn't play "according to the rules" and we were "loud".. (I don't know what that meant other than we were laughing and joking and he wasn't used to it)..

He literally started bawling over the way we played... I was like wow.. no fun in my sister's house I take it.. lol..
