I woke up in the night and after ensuring that I would be up again later by drinking a big glass of water, I sat down for a vape. I reached for one of my two uwell Hypercars and tried to fire it. Nothing happened. So, I switched out the battery. Nothing. I tried the second one and same thing. How weird, eh? That both of them would go kaput at the same time. I have to admit that the thought of cheap Chinese &^^%&*( went through my mind. Before I chunked both in the trash, I decided to do a google to see if anyone had run into the same problem. Nope, but I did start watching a video about them. Thinking the whole time, yeah, you dummy, wait until you have it for a few months and lets see if you STILL say that. When, all of a sudden, the reviewer mentioned the switch off on the bottom of the mod....

uh, well, you know... I knew then that the problem was ME. So, I calmly switched one of them on and voila the lights came on. Tried the second one, and yup.

The moral of this sad, but in the end, happy story is... I don't know... I'm an idiot? :p

As soon as you said Uwell, I knew where that was going. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve done the same thing.

Morning all. We had a heck of a storm last night, like something out of an old horror movie. Thunder, lightning, torrential rain for hours. Fortunately we didn’t have the hail or 60 mph winds the news warned about, and the power stayed on.

Kept the granddaughter awake though. She’s sleeping on the couch in the living room, right next to my room. She kept sneaking into my room. Quiet as a mouse. I was half asleep watching Svengoolie, Billy the kid vs Dracula. A bolt of lightning flashes, illuminating her little face 4 inches away. Scared the living tar out of me. Little kids are creepy.

Reminds me of a sign I used to see often (variation on a theme) :). "Put brain in gear before engaging vape!"

Been there, done that!

Good Morning Shiners!

My wife's grandfather doted on our kids all the time and they all had a special bond with him. When our youngest was three he passed away. About two months later, one Saturday morning as the wife and I were just about to get out of bed, we could hear the 3 year old in the room just laughing and giggling. Then we heard her say, "I wuv you too Papaw", and she started giggling again... While it was cute, it scared the crap out of me.

I'm always very glad when it turns out that I'm the idiot, not the manufacturer. At least I can do something about me.

Can I just refuse the meeting? Say that I feel it will not be in my best interests.

Yes, you totally can. I sure would. If I have a work conflict with someone, I do not meet with their wife/husband/partner/dog/personalJesus. I cannot imagine an outcome that would be good for me or even good for the person with whom I have the conflict. Just... more gasoline for the dumpster fire.

If you must for some reason meet with this woman, it should not be just the two of you, and be prepared to smile, nod, COMMIT TO NOTHING, thank them for their input, GIVE THEM NOTHING, and end it after max 15 minutes.

Man I am reaching for my squid very often. Surprisingly often. I have a zenith on there but like, IDK. I guess I could try an Odessey and see what that is like.

I don't want to put an RTA on it, due to dread of leaks. Maybe I should leave the Zenith there, I seem to be enjoying it.

I got used to an Aspire mod where when you change batteries and put the fresh ones in, it lights right up ready to use.

The Aegis Legend does not do this. At all. It took me ages of swapping batteries and peering all over it like a puppy with one of those toys with peanut butter smeared inside to finally notice that I just had to click the fire button 5 times.

The SL shuts off to after removing the battery as well. Like and use the mod daily but won't buy another.
