Recovering from pancreatitis & gall bladder surgery. Omg the excruciating pain from Memorial Day until they could do surgery on Thursday. I’m at home healing.

Thanks so much for asking

Oh wow.. I'm so sorry to hear that..

I hope you recover quickly, for real.

Wish I could give five stars and LOVE for that! Wow!

Can anyone point me in the right direction in car stereos? I’m getting the A/C fixed in the Mustang, and I figure if I’m putting money in it, I’ll be driving it more, and my CD player jammed so I’m stuck with the few lousy local stations. That will never do. Do t need a CD player, but I do want Bluetooth. It’s a double whatever they call it, if that matters. The speakers are good, so they won’t be replaced.

I haven’t bought any audio equipment this century and I’m out of the loop.

Afternoon all, it is 35°C (95°F) at the moment, with (potentially severe) thunderstorms expected this evening/overnight.

Nothing that counts as shiny today (or this week :(), but I did get some new batteries in today: 2 x Sony VTC6, 2 x Molicel 20700A, 1 x Samsung 40T). All charged up and ready to vape through tonight's storms.

Won't be able to sit on the balcony to enjoy the storms though, all the balconies at my end of the building are getting work done, so the concrete is torn up and my sliding doors are blocked from the outside to prevent access (and they'll be at it for another 10-14 days, and it hasn't been quiet).

Eskie I am glad to her your daughter is better. I vaped in the chapel at the hospital
Heartsdelight-I hope you continue to feel better.
DeloresRose-Bluetooth was a necessity to me when I bought my lastest (and probably last) car. It is the bomb for talking on the phone while driving and a necessity if you want to follow the law. (not my reason but it should have been;))

Try this link, put in your car info, they list what stereo's will fit. They also send detailed instructions for the install, as well as list the tools needed. If you're pretty handy, this could save you some money.

Double din just basically means double standard height.
I'd recommend going on Amazon first and get a dash kit for your model(fills the double din and looks pretty). Secondly get a wiring harness so it plugs into the factory plug. You may also need an antenna adaptor.
Those few things a shop will charge you alot for.
    Now radio is wide open.
Many now are bluetooth and are pretty comparable.
Wattage output will vary but atleast 25 watts a channel for most factory speakers will suffice. If you like it loud go higher.
One factor alot dont consider is the display color. Drives me crazy to get in a car with say blue gauges and a red display aftermarket radio.

Doing it yourself maybe 150 and up. The items I mentioned will have instructions and if you take a little time it's not too bad.
Oh also if doing it yourself grab some wire splice connectors of some sort to connect the radio to the harness.
A shop typically will be much more.

    Just my :2c:
