No shiny mail expected today, but didn’t make it to the post office anyway. Waiting on the pool guy to fix a valve. My water consumption has doubled, according to my bill, and I had they meter reader double check. Seems that’s all in order. Only thing it could be is the toilet. I don’t see or hear any running water, but I’m going to replace that float valve again anyway. That last one seemed chintzy.

Evil doc came scurrying in repeating OVER and OVER how he wanted to do my wishes. I was like.... "Did you even read my email?" He was like, "No, well not all of it."

(I am so glad I am not the only woman who finds tolerating your presence makes her want to puke, I did not say.) And then, like he was all jumpy and I was like, "How about Thursday. We may not need it. But I am allocating a full hour." (He will be getting grilled, on tape, I loaded a recording device on my phone I just DON'T CARE. It's LEGAL.)
Then he kept begging me to see his patients and I was like "Dr. Evil had you read the materials addressed to you, you would know that I will not be seeing your patients for two weeks, so enjoy."
Then, he left. Everyone else was fine-ish. I brought a bunch of cookies for the MAs. It's not THEIR fault. One of the schedulers whom I adore hugged me. I think it was for more than cookies though. LOL.
I swear. I attract the crazy.
Funnily enough the person I most want to punch is Dr. Head Doc, he who has "mediated THOUSANDS of conflicts" (he is about 12--16 in age he is Full of **IT. I am going to ask him how Dr. Evil got kicked off the Bisbee island and how come he didn't mediate THAT one so everyone got along. Because they didn't. He may not like my question but that is HIS problem.
Also he's such a.... freak show. He really is. He deserves to be eaten by a goat.
Also, it has to be worse to BE Dr. Evil than interact with himself. I mean... He can't get away from HIMSELF.
Also. I kept repeating my favorite mantra, "The quality of mercy is not strained. It droppeth like the gentle rain of heaven unto the ground beneath."
I love that part of that Shakespeare play man, I mean you KNOW Shakespeare had to have had to like, visit money lenders and he HATED them so much, he made a play about them. LOL. Where a great judge gave them a GREAT comeuppance. I bet that ENTIRE play was based on his hatred of money lenders.

Only “shiny” was two flavors from NR that Chefs didn’t have for their order (now somewhere over the great water). I got a blessed reprieve from painting the bead board on the new screen porch. A shiny of your choice to the person who comes and finishes for me!!! Rain saved me today, but it’s hooooot and humid out there, even with the fan. No idea where my China order is, I’m just going to be surprised when it shows up

Have you ever had one of those days when you get a brand new RTA and you're really looking forward to vaping it. But then the thing drives you so completely insane for hours on end that you want to pretend you've never bought it, or toss it in a drawer to be lost forever, or in moments of real anger throw it out of an open window?
Well friends the Spica Pro is that tank for me and I'm sure many of it's unique design innovations were purposefully invented by masochists in an attempt to utterly frustrate the user. And even when I got the thing finally right I had none of that vaping satisfaction because the sheer trials I had to perform to get to that stage left me utterly disillusioned. But the flavour is very good, even excellent but I don't think it will be in active rotation somehow. I'm a simple Muppet who is getting old and is very tired of unnecessary faff.

Loved that LP and I think it was one third or fourth in my record collection as a young person. First being Neil Young, After the Gold Rush and second being David Bowie's, Spiders from Mars.DeloresRose - very nice, NY is the perfect music for a cloudy Monday.

OM gee what a coincidence. I got my water bill last Thursday and opened it Friday morning. It went from $50ish in April to 80ish in May. This month it was $241! OMG. I was a nervous wreck all day Friday. Had a neighbor come help me and called the the rental company I rent from. That was the only good part of the story because I got to call someone else and say "come fix this" rather then incur the expense myself. Of course the plumber could not get here until today and it was determined to be the pressure relief valve. I am a renter and this was out of my control. Who should pay for this?
The water company did tell me they would adjust a 30 day amount but that is all. The $30ish overage on the April bill, looks like it will be mine to just eat. Most concerning is the meter was read on June the 2nd and today is the 17th so we are talking about another 15 days of a huge bill. Does anyone know who is supposed to pay this? The water is in my name so I am responsible but shouldn't the owner or the rental office pay?

Pool guy finally showed up and said he couldn’t fix the valves. So that was a wasted day.
I realized I'll need more sandpaper, and probably some pore-filler for a couple spots to do it right ... and I couldn't wait --- so I did some light sanding, some oil, some micro-mesh and a wax rub and it's plenty good enough for now (especially if you don't hold it at oblique angles to the light). I think I definitely lucked out with the colors/patterns for a blind "red" order.Beautiful! Can’t wait to see it after you work on it

As I was reading your first paragraph my gut feeling was that you were speaking of the Spica. I heard good things about the Spica via reviews and videos likely as you did. I was always about 17mm from adding one to my cart and then got a gut feeling of "just skip it".
I'm guessing it's probably not quite as bad as the Kayfun 4 parts wise.
Always heard Spica has great flavor too. Thank you for confirming my gut on the Spica as I too am at that point of not wanting to mess with gear needlessly. I subscribe to K.I.S.S..

I know same here with things from 30+ ago. "Some Girls", yeeeeeeeessss! Another great band I've seen back then. They may outlive me the rate they are going. Mick for sure will probably outlive many.

Anna, I would skip the goat and go for the bullet ant which is by far the worst ant to receive a bite from. The pain can last for more than 24 hours. Can cause death even if swarmed.

Here in Wisconsin the owner would have to pay for that by law. Owner of the property you are renting from should be paying for all repair(s) plus the difference in your water bills and possibly any damage(s) to any of your things. It is their property as is the plumbing. If the owner refuses then check the laws there. Being that you are in California I would think the laws would be on your side with this. Thinking you would also be able to take the owner to small claims court if it gets messy. Have you let the water company know the exact nature of the problem also that you are renting and may need some time to square this up? They may take that into consideration IDK. Worth a try.
Edit: having said all that it also depends on what is in your lease agreement

Wow you did a great job of it. That looks fantastic. Yes exactly, and thank you, it did take me a bit to get used to the odd button position. My muscle memory kept getting it wrong with my Luna. Too funny but happy I am not the only one!
