No the English is pretty bang on except ''encore'' also means again :)

I always took encore as again. Then again my French was always terrible. Same with Spanish. Good thing I live where I do or I'd never be able to talk to anyone.

I really do have a tin ear for languages. My daughter picks them up in no time. Works out for her because if I travel overseas she always gets a freebie trip so I can find out where the bathrooms are.

I'm even bad at those universal signs.

He au kei uta e taea te karo, he au kei te moana e kore e taea. :2c: Right back at ya!!!

Hint, you won't find any of the usual translation sites helpful. I tried a couple and none are anywhere near correct. Good luck!

There is only one person, possibly a second, here who will know and perhaps understand.

Boy, if my French and Spanish are terrible, you expect me to figure out Maori?

You've done better than most with getting the language correct.

I can only imagine the wheels spinning and the bits and bytes flying around trying to figure it out.

Ange will love the meaning!!! Whenever she wakes up that is.

I almost got it! I only know a few words in French, and half of those because our dog food labels are in English and French lol. If I ever get a chance to visit, I’ll know how to order a potato and coffee, and call you my little eggplant.
