Exactly...even the juice is proprietaryBit like the BB by the sounds of it Fred ??
No unfortunately it isn't coming right down to the coast this year but here is a link to the route (in french) which shows where it is going....Exactly...even the juice is proprietary
Hey Charlie i'm eagerly waiting on the Tour de France to start. Does it pass near you this year? Maybe you can run around in a funny costume and blow a few max VG signals so we can see you on TV...![]()
Yeah would love to follow the tour one year. Been watching it for years. Always some drama and fascinating developments. See they start in Belgium this year...on my birthdayI'm right down in the most south eastern corner facing the island of Corsica. I shall be watching though and the french always turn out for it when it come through their towns so there are no shortage of tv shots of spectators..You ought to do a T de F holiday one year....pretty much guarantee the weather if you do some of the southern stages![]()
Wishing her the best!Well, my ex (though she doesn't care for that term, so I usually call her my friend) had a heart attact earlier today --- she didn't know it at the time, just some weakness / wooziness after her shower (but she also has MS, and that's not exactly a new symptom), some chest pain (she also has recurring heartburn, so also not really new), and later some nausea (maybe the flu or something she ate she thought). I called one of our sons to go over to make sure she was doing ok, then she had jaw pain, more nausea, and shortness of breath, and after my son talked with his girlfriend (med student) he took her to the hospital.
Bloodwork and EKG were indicative of a heart attack, but she was stable, so they were going to do an angio in the morning. However, my other son just texted that she was having more jaw pain and shortness of breath, so they are considering her high risk and just took her in now. My brother is out of town, so I don't have anyone to be here for my mother until Home Care comes tomorrow at 9am. Needless to say, this sucks.
Probably gear from the sale list. I ordered a couple fireluke 2 tanks and map was cheaper. Decided to pass on the evl reaper for now.I just stuck a beejezus lot of stuff in a cart and tried it - didn't work on any of them
Interested in what does apply![]()
Yes it's a big thing in France it's a sport by the people for the people if you know what I mean. The first ever winner was a working class Frenchman so not a hint of elitism...Yeah would love to follow the tour one year. Been watching it for years. Always some drama and fascinating developments. Flashy part of France you're living...between Marsaille and Monaco looks like. You stay there permanent or for work? Don't mean to be nozy, just interested, as I'm of French decent.

Yes i'm very lucky to live just inland of St Raphel which is just west of Cannes (film festival) in the Cote d'Azur and yes Monaco is an hour and a half and St Tropez a short boat ride across the bay from St Maxime where Brigitte Bardot still lives
I've been here for 10 years now and would never leave it is an extraordinary region and extremely beautiful....
And one of the best things abou being here is Italy is only 2 hours drive with Florence 4 hours away, Switzerland about the same....so many countries, in fact, easily accessible![]()

That's nice to hear and a beautiful place to be from also.I'm Suisse decent (from both French and German Cantons). My family hails from Val-de-Travers, Noiraigue, Trubschachen & Ruegsau, Berne, Switzerland. I am the oldest survivor of the 5th generation in the US.

My family in that area grew Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and distilled The Green Fairy (Absinthe).
Yes that would be lovely....it's a destination that everyone wants to be for sure. Lots of people come to get married, live and generally live it up a bit...My wife Veronica has 5 cousin's who are planning a 60th and we have suggested it could be held in a place that we know in Italy. It's an old Hamlet which is now a vineyard and hotel/BnB....it would be wonderfulSounds amazing! We should do a shiny town meet up there!
