Ah Andrew i've been looking out for you as I have a question....I do like that pipe by the way :)

Right question....did you take your Luna apart before you gave it the wet n dry treatment.....i'm having trouble.

But maybe you just masked where necessary?

Thanks in advance for info...

I fully removed the upper and lower screws, removed the lower squonk-bottle plate, and just lifted the top plate off enough to do a good masking around the plate with excess tape tucked underneath -- then held the top plate back down on the mod while working. I also put a circle of tape on the button (it's slightly recessed and may not have needed, but I didn't want to chance scuffing it up).

I didn't do any real wet-sanding --- dry sanding with paper to 400, then with the micro-mesh I just kept rinsing the micro-mesh pads in a bowl of water and blotting them dry on a towel (didn't want moisture getting in around the button or through the LED hole).

That's very helpful...thank you :)

Oh, and just for informational purposes -- if you are wet sanding or rinsing in my case, change the water between grits, else you risk the paper/pad picking up a piece of larger grit from previous pads/paper and creating scratches in your finer levels of polishing.

Shouldn't happen as I don't completely rinse I just wipe down completely with an absorbant cloth, but thanks again though. I use a little cup of water to wet it down with a light splash from my finger tips... so any residual grit should sink to the bottom..

It's a good thing to keep in mind though as a huge gouge across a really nice buffed up piece of wood would be a real pain :)

Happy Sunday, shiny fam. A little Therion love and some more new juice for me this morning.

This one is giving me a cake donut rolled in sugar and cinnamon vibe. The cinnamon is light and not overpowering and there's a sweet milk note on the back end. Pretty dang good with coffee, too. So far I haven't found a flavor from this line that I haven't liked. I suppose I'll have to try the apple and lemon flavors now.

Also, the Axial is fast becoming my favorite atty. Hasn't disappointed yet.

This is very useful. I've buffed away quite a bit of the black on the Luna I'm working on now and would just as soon not repeat this mistake on the others. (I did try to be careful, but the tape I'd applied eroded away and I didn't notice.)

BTW I've been sane and productive for hours now. I bathed. I did notes. I kind of got this THING going where I was like, grim. In a good way. I was like, "Well, life is going to suck at least part of the time right now, so I am going to LET it." I told my husband that and he was all proud of me.

I was like, "Don't YOU THINK I have adopted your life mantra forever, because I think it sucks, actually. It just seems to be working for NOW."

But I was productive. I didn't complain. When I was gonna work on my work thing but could not figure out me "free subscription to 365 office which like EVERYTHING is a subscription now it sucks. I don't want a year of office, I want all the programs free and pre installed on the computer.

They are RUINING things, subscriptions. It's like freemium only its stuff YOU NEED. ARGH.

But, I was chill. I was like, "This is not due til Thursday so I guess I will email acer." Because none of the literature *I* got involved "how to install 365 days of something you want until you die."

So.

Decided to experiment by taking out the screws on (in?) the Luna I've already disfigured. Top screws came out fine. First bottom screw likewise. Second bottom screw wouldn't budge. Finally I just decided to reassemble the damn thing. And found that the bottom screw that I'd removed wouldn't screw back in--or, rather, would go back in and promptly fall right out again. Guess there's some Loctite in my future.

@Zazie - Based on my own experience, and that of quite a few others on ECF who have/use them...the EHPro KFL+ V2 is a decent RTA, and is much less expensive than an authentic one. Just my :2c: though.
I like that one very much. And I've got two of 'em! I just would've been tickled to own a real, live Kayfun.

Yeah, I got a bunch of those. The first few I got had 2 air holes. Then they ran out and I got lots more with the single air hole, they were down to $5 each by the end. Wish I had known how much I would like them when the 2 hole ones were available.

Not that I need any more, but I haven't seen them available for a while. Except for a handful of odd sites that have them at sky high prices.

I'm sitting here with nothing interesting to do and there's nothing on the tele so I came up with a question. I wonder if you could set up an account on ECF with the name Ignored Member. You could have lots of fun with that.

@englishmick - You and I were 2 of the people that I knew of...who scooped up quite a few of the EHPro KFL+ V2 before most places sold out of them. The gorgeous blue ones are my favorites by far.

I'm sort of embarrassed to admit this, but will anyway, just for S&G. A few months after I'd added a couple people to my Ignored list, I was skimming down a main forum page at the thread titles and who'd posted in them last. I saw Ignored Member...showing as the name of the last person who'd posted in a thread. I honestly caught myself wondering...."Now who in their right mind would choose Ignored Member as a User ID?" It then dawned on me...DA...the poster was 1 of the 2 people I'd put on my list.

I’m very tame here. I have ignored less than half a dozen people. On FB - don’t roll your eyes, I have to use it for my family- i unfriended all but family and a few folks I know and like. Twitter is another matter. I think I average 100 blocks an hour. There are some fantastic people in twitter and I’ll not let the ignorant jerks ruin it for me.

And speaking of twitter, everyone is posting selfies in their Everybody Counts shirts, even me, which is way out of my comfort zone, but it’s for a good cause. I got a like from Titus and Michael Connelly :) and added to the Bosch fan site collage.

I showed that to my mom and she was tickled. She said, “Tell that Michael Connelly he’s a nice man.”

She want one of the shirts too now, so I’m following to see if they sell them again.

It’s awesome you have your husband to thrash things out. Last month my pcp wanted my pdoc to cut one of my antidepressants and it’s hitting me hard right now. I decided to increase it again since I see him next week.

It really doesn’t motivate any building or experimenting even with a bum thumb.

I heard something interesting that I want to run by you people if I may.
I watched this video yesterday

At the 12.40 mark he starts talking about some people being sensitive to PG. An "avertion" is what he calls it....cramps and upset stomach. That got me thinking about something that has been baffling me about myself.
I've been getting that same symptoms for some time now, but only occationally and only in the morning after breakfast. I also don't do that high PG. I generally don't go more than 40PG. I can't remember getting it before I started vaping though....
Amway...what I want to know is....Do any of you maybe get these symptoms from vaping higher PG?
Yes! I started with 50/50. A year or so into vaping, I started having having those symptoms. By then I was making my own juice h I lowered the pg to 35. Too much vg gives me yuk mouth. Just a goopy feeling. And it tamps down flavor.
