Everything I learned was from Manny and a few other guys. I wanted to share that knowledge here since so many people were purchasing stabwood mods.
Hi guys...so my extended polishing and buffing kit came in the mail today along with some Renaissance polish![]()
Grits used were (starting just above where I left off at 600) 800, 1200, 2000, 3000, 5000, 10 000. These came as 7.5cm (3 inch) circular sheets which velcroed onto a similar sized backing plate which then was fitted on a drill....
I then buffed with a 75mm buffing pad with a pre finishing paste and the finishing was done with an 150 mm cotton buffing pad with finishing paste. Renaissance wax was then applied and then rebuffed to a perfect gloss.
Hopefully this video will do the finish justice![]()
EDIT Sorry guys embedding the video didn't work....if anyone knows how to do it let me know.

My SBody Legend II arrived today, not in the fancy box I saw in the reviews, disappointingly, but, hey, the great price had to come at the expense of something, I suppose. The screw that goes in the battery cap was also loose in the box, but it was there, at least.
I am flustered, though. I screwed on an atty, which was fitted with a 1.25 ohm coil. I then popped in an 18650 and adjusted the screw to eliminate the rattle. And the mod--which, unbeknownst to me, had arrived with the power set at 55W--autofired. I couldn't get the damn battery cap to unscrew (broke my thumbnail trying), so it just kept on and on firing till I could grab a pair of needle nose pliers and get a grip on the cap.
I have already got back on the horse and reinserted a battery, pulling back on the screw a bit. When I first turned the mod on, without an atty, a "short" message flashed on the screen, but I'm guessing this was left over from the autofire. After I reattached the same atomizer that had endured the ordeal, everything seemed to be fine. The juice is overcooked, of course, so I need to dump it, wash the tank (some liquid got seared to it), and rewick. Should I change the coil as well?
This is far more excitement than I like in my life.
I promised myself I'd read every post since it's been less than 24 hours since I've been on, but this sure is a chatty bunch.Good morning Shiny's !!!
Hope all are having an awesome day.
Good heavens, I am now 20 some odd pages behind... yikes...![]()
Wow, sounds like a lot of grief just to get a vape, I hope it turns out to be a fluke and it performs well for you.My SBody Legend II arrived today, not in the fancy box I saw in the reviews, disappointingly, but, hey, the great price had to come at the expense of something, I suppose. I keep seeing that Cloud Chemist ejuice. Although I have enough DiY supplies and premixed juice to last a lifetime, I'm still interested in it (I have shinyitis with ejuice tooHey hey, it's a shiny day!

Got some new bling from the Mterk 50% sale from the 4th. The pic really doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful pearly matte red color. Came with 24mm and 25mm barrels and chuff caps for both as well. Pretty schweet.
If you like cereal, he has the best base in the game IMO. I'm sure most everyone in here has heard me gush many times before but my favorites are Frosty Science (an excellent Frosted Flakes), Frosty Science Banana, The Alchemist (best Cinnamon Toast Crunch in the biz) and Heisenberry Crunch (Boo Berry).I keep seeing that Cloud Chemist ejuice. No apologies needed mate. All that stuff is a good problem to have. I'm in no real hurry...just don't want you to forgetI'm really sorry for the delay Fred but the surface is still in the cupboard awaiting my input....my desk is inondated with other mods...2 luna's, ultroner mini, rave mini, Legend, BB 70 watt and 2 RTA (more coming too).
Good morning shiners!
I have one and think it's one of the better dual 18650 mods out there. It's very small for a dual battery mod. It feels good in hand. Nice fire bar. Navigation is with a joystick but it works really well, no mushy am I pushing it right issue. The screen is nice, tasteful, no Speedracer /Mission to Mars flashy design, and one of the best menu systems I've seen. The front panel is a fingerprint magnet, and while plastic has yet to show any scratches even with pocket carry.
Downsides while it's a good 510 it's not centered (although that's preference) but it does still hold a 25 mm tank just fine, and the TC is meh, but I'm picky about that and use my DNA mods for that.
All on all one of the best products I've seen from Innokin (and I'm a big Innokin fan) and when first released really well regarded. Now with all the 20x series batteries out there I think it gets less love, but I think it's just fine as I'm never over 50W that often so no runtime issues for me. And best of all they kept the screen simple and easy to read without getting all flashy.
Oh, and it's not only small for the battery count but it's quite light.
I did not get it as a kit so I have zero idea how the tank is the kit comes with.
Thank you all !
Thank you !
I know nothing about it - but I actually won one !
Proton and 3 GoMax tanks
Enjoy it! It's a nice mod. Those GoMax are their new disposable refillable tanks. Sort of a pod with a 510. It supposedly has a Plexus3D sorta coil which appears is meant for DL. Please let us know what you think of them once they arrive!
not that I know of except for the SXK BB. It uses the same coilsIs there any coil cross-compatibility with this particular Tobeco tank?
What a crappy vaping day this has been. First the adventure with the SBody Legend, then a failed attempt at setting up the True: it vaped horribly and then leaked all over the Colossal I'd put it on. Finally, when I was taking apart the atty that had been atop the Legend, I noticed an o ring had come loose and was jammed between the chimney and the glass. Removed it after some struggle and decided to suspend activity till tomorrow. We all need a timeout.
Grumble.
Not sure how I didn't see this reply, but thanks, that's good to know. Overhang is definitely annoying and on some mods, could contribute to it being knocked over easier by being top heavy. That's iJoy Avenger?
If so, should just about fit without any overhang.
