Thanks. The gloom is a lot smaller than I thought, looking forward to getting mine. Should be here Thursday. Gosh, I have five mods coming. I need to simmer down!
Me, too. I just paid my credit card bill and balanced my checkbook. I bought a remarkable amount of stuff this past month. The expense isn't a problem (yet); it's just that doing both those chores was more of a pain than I'm used to. And that was without compulsively checking all the Amazon charges on the credit card statement, as I normally do. But am I willing to tamp down the shinyitis in return for quicker accounting? Only time will tell.*

* Hint: the smart money is on "no."

Totally loving the Arctic Fox firmware. I did these earlier. Funny, I don't know why I waited so long to do use AF. I need to get my stash Pico's updated next.

They're Arctic Fox approved.

I have a stack of the latest and greatest atomizers, but my daily vape is still the old EHPro Kayfun Lite V2. It holds 4.5ml juice and produces a good vape.

Lots of attys are a little better in flavor, but few these days hold enough juice to suit me! My Kayfuns don't leak in a pants pocket, either. You'd think that atomizer designers could fix that as a general design rule. Obviously, they don't use their creations or they just let them sit on a desk all day and don't carry them in a pocket. Maybe they only vape 2.3ml juice a day. Go figure!
I love the KFL+ v2 and will be forever grateful to the kind and generous soul who gave me two of them. So far, I do believe it's my favorite (of a mere six, but still . . .).

Look what arrived early! I won’t lie, I’m still a little nervous about this mech situation. I should be fine because I haven’t had any problem with the Luna. But they blink if something is wrong.

I’ll be using the same atties, build, and batteries, and building on a regulated mod. Still...
You'll be fine ... it'll just be you blinking instead of the mod if something is wrong
Kidding!!!

Just remember, (and I'm just saying this in general, not directed at anyone in particular) after building, mounting, checking resistance, pulsing, wicking, priming, --- do a final resistance check with the cap on the atty. It bugs me watching reviews where they build on an ohm-reader, show the resistance, then pulse it, wick it, prime it up, put the (metal) cap on and put the atty on a mech and vape without a final check. I mean, sure, I know I've clipped the leads close enough to know they won't touch the cap ... but I check anyway.

.Your post reminded me to install and update some Pico's to the ArcticFox firmware.
Oh lord, I should do that, too. I've got six of the darn things. What a pain (please excuse the whining: it's hot, so everything feels overwhelming today).

They are great RTA's and the flavor is so awesome. I'm down to two authentic KFL+ v2's after giving my brother two. My wife used to always drop hers and break the plastic window. I have a baggie full of those.

She liked her KFL so much she told me we needed to get spares. When we saw the Russian 91% v2 on sale a few years ago we grabbed 8 of those for stash. She always wanted to be prepared for future regulations. Now with her gone I have way more than I will ever need. I have tons of spare parts for them too. My stash is very healthy. ;)

Does the Pico X have the same 22 mm limit on it like the original, or is this one like an updated Pico 25?
Even though the specs at FT say it is a 31mm mod it can only take 22mm atty's per the thread I just read. All due to the battery cap.

While it's good that you have a fine stash, I truly hate the reason for it.

You can no more tamp than I can simmer.

I’m off to bed. Yes, I know it’s early. I got my portable A/C in the bedroom today, finally, in anticipation of the coming heat wave. Of course I could not just put the thing in, I figured might as well wash the bedding first, since it’ll be hard to squeeze past the A/C to do it later. And while I was at it, do a bit of tidying. And as long as I was doing that, clean and dust and do the rest of the laundry. I’m beat. Tomorrow I’ll play with the Gloom.

Thanks, me too, big time.
On the bright side my stash will outlast me. My younger brother, and his daughter, know they're getting everything. Almost like a will for vape gear. ;)

    beautiful girl~

You posted yesterday, or the day b4 about everyone wanting to adopt 'flop' ragdoll cats. I agree completely, as that was why Luna got passed up before she found me - she was too timid and shy for them.

Sometimes the timid and shy just need to be in a small household where they are number one. She is more of a flop/ragdoll/smoochy type of cat than any other cat I've had before - those ppl missed out, but I didn't ;)

Ange, from my experience with the Hussar v1 RDA it does require more squonking to keep the wick saturated. At least compared to the Creek with its massive 1.2ml juice well or even a NarDA. With the v1 I squonk after almost every couple of hits due to the juice well not being very deep.

With an RDA that has a deeper juice well you won't have to squonk as often. Hussar addressed that with the Legacy RDA and its deeper well plus an improved juice feeding system.

Here are are some you might like. All with deeper juice wells, are flavor bangers, fit your vape style and have great reviews...

YFTK Hussar Legacy 316SS 22mm Style RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer w/ BF Pin - Silver

Mine should be here real soon...

You knew I'd be shopping for bf RDAs ;) Thank you  I have them all bookmarked for my next splurge.

I like how the hussar v1 isn't a deep well, as otherwise I would completely forget to squonk - it's great getting in the habit of squeezing every 4 or 5 puffs. I still used my RTAs today as well though, I'm like an old fogey who hates change - baby steps

I commend all you rescuers. I kind of love cats because they are NOT codependent, like dogs. I mean I assume they have the cat equivalent of "Feelings" which consist of like, "Feed me now human," instead of "OH HUMAN I MISSED YOU SO BAD ALL DAY PAY ME ATTENTION THAT IS BETTER THAN FOOD."

I loved cats because I find them very calming. They're great creatures to just lay around stroking (if they aren't half feral) and like, it's a mutual benefit because you get a living, breathing stuffed animal that's not going to complain if you ignore it for half a day.

I know people say cats can be loving, committed and intelligent beasts, and to that I say: "You can train a lot of animals to behave a LOT of ways, in a lot of different manners, but at BASE, a cat may tolerate or even LIKE you. But it is doing so out of SELF interest, not interest in you per se, although it's smart enough to figure out if it does X it will be rewarded with Y."

There is the rare mutant cat that is genuinely smart. They don't come along that often and mine, unfortunately, was hit by a car and eventually died. He was a mutant.

If I were not allergic, I would have a cat. Well, that plus letting out a domesticated cat in AZ is cruel, but so is keeping a cat indoors all the time in my opinion.

But yeah if not for that I might have a cat or two. I find them infinitely relaxing in comparison to dogs. Dogs are WAY smarter (except for the mutants) and genuinely want to love and please you.

I can't handle that kind of commitment, I'm married so I've already got a HUMAN who wants to do that and this is COMPLICATED ENOUGH.

The only thing worse right now would be a ferret. But a cat ,I would find calming except for the endless sneezing and whatnot,.

Please, do not take my statements personally. I would never even SPECULATE about your kids or anything. That's sacred.

Although it has been my experience that those who anthrophormize animals to a LARGE degree do not have children, and may not want them. I am also cool with that, I do not have to live your life.

Crud. Gotta call the husband then EAT. Maybe for the best. LOL.

Yay! I hope it's a friendly and can find some new people to take care of.

    :banana::banana::banana:
Yes we will see. Right now it is relaxing in a crate with food, litter and water for the night. Tomorrow I will try to handle her/him.
