The anticipation began yesterday. I ordered a Hammer of God mod and 2 Purge Money Shot RDAs.

see they are all the way up to v4 now.if you only MTL you could have battery life for a week.post some pics when it comes in. EDIT i watched the video it's 8.4 volts none adjustable,no MTL is possible.

I just got a package from FT. It took 3 days to get out of China. Then it got stuck on originating post is preparing shipment, nothing happened for 8 days until it reappeared as processed through ISC in NY. Then nothing happened again for 4 days. Finally it showed up on USPS as out for delivery a couple of hours before it arrived.

Pretty good in terms of overall delivery time but the tracking was kind of frustrating.

Mine is doing the same. It's been waiting on a seat to JFK for 10 days now.

got a mac mini 2014 8GB 1TB running linux. it's been struggling recently (encrypted FS may be to blame). think an SSD is called for though the apple folk don't make the swap easy. not shiny but it might put a hold on shiny until it is done.

If you can get an SSD in there it should fly with Linux. Getting it installed, well, can't be worse than assembling a KF 4 without the drawing as a guide to where the O rings go.

I wrote the guy I bought the Kayfun 4 from a nice little note asking if it's authentic, assuring him I wouldn't leave negative feedback if it turns out it's not. And I won't--it was my choice to take a chance on it. I wonder if he'll respond.

I also managed, with the help of a pair of pliers, to open up the airflow on the Kraken. Now I just have to study up on how to roll a mesh wick (I also need to find out if there's a way to oxidize the mesh absent a torch). I don't think I'll try using the steel cable that was also included in the package. From what I've read, most prefer mesh to it, so I figure why bother.

This is all terribly fascinating, isn't it? Sorry.

Have you run diagnostics (fsck -fy from single user mode) or Apple diags?
I don't know if you are able, with what you are running, but have you tried disabling encrypted FS and then seeing how it runs?

Just a couple thoughts.

An SSD swap in the Mini doesn't look very difficult compared to upgrading some of their machines.

Someone told me the theory on the weird stuff from Amazon is due to some sort of hack. Personally i can’t see what’s to gain from sending oddball free stuff to other people. My theory is either a glitch or disgruntled worker.

You can use a Bic lighter to flame the mesh. Just watch your fingers (well, any way you do it).

There are also those mini torches you can get in head shops used for the free basing of something other than free base nic. Should do the trick as well if you don't want to get a regular torch at Home Depot. One plus for the real (albeit still small) torch is if you have a fireplace it'll get things lit up for you way faster than matches for newspaper alone.

Morning all!

I had my tracking numbers mixed up and thought the Soulkeeper was coming today, but it’s another Bunker. That’s fine. No ETA on the rosefinch from source more yet.

Going to be another hot one today. Yesterday the pups and I stayed in and binged Comedians in Cars - I got up early and mowed out front because it just couldn’t wait any longer. Today I gotta get moving and check on Mom. My sister went yesterday. Mom’s stubborn about wanting to go outside, and leaving the door open.

I keep explaining about the heat and the humidity and how the AC works. But when I go over there she has the door open. Even when it was in the 80s I’d about pass out in that apartment. She can’t feel it.

Anyway... I’m going to try to stay busy indoors after that today, and distract myself from those Vicious Ants that haunt my dreams.

They are sharp lookin' mods. Now you have me curious...please post a photo of this hair fork. I hope you can eat with it too. I went with the sloooowest boat they had. Mine will be in the economy section minus several rows. I was too chicken to see the shipping with DHL. With my luck it was probably cheap...
