Good morning Shiny's
Amazing sleep and amazing dog walk.

I wanted to walk mine today, but a bath was more important. So now I’m gonna scrub the tub. Later, when Rudy is dry ( well, more dry. He stays damp for a couple days) brushing and nails and vacuuming.

Need to mow and do other yard work as well.

But good news, I got a tracking update on the Rosefinches, they’re in the states and could be here by the end of the week. The Soulkeeper and other items are packaged but not moving yet.

I need to wake UP. I am having problems with that. Perhaps in 15 minutes a shower will help. Oh god hate my life today. LOL. I mean I'm sure the meeting will be fairly meaningless.

little to report apart from purchasing the ingredients for my customer base's 2nd favourite liquid. .. my watermelon blend and some VG and PG.
the guy i gave the mech and build setups to was extremely pleased and rather excited. i was too as a result. well, pleased. excited is rare. told him to give me a shout if he needs anything and the requisite caution details to back up existing imparted information. think he'll do just fine.
this bus journey is heating up my belgian beer. overly. like a trooper I'll finish the can.
yeah, it's an all go whirlwind. hold on tight.

Power outage here, ugh! Raining too double ugh!! It’s bad might take a few days to get power back. New Jersey.

We have a generator but hubs is at work. Going to have to throw out all the food in fridge & freezer.

Good morning shiners! Cool but lots of new lakes all over the place. Pretty bad by my daughter with a bathing suit needed to go out but it sure isn't like hanging out in South Beach. Fortunately it doesn't flood around me, but I'm still glad I don't have to play Russian Roulette with the subway this morning.

In other non-shiny news my daughter signed her new employment contract and negotiated both a raise and a sign on bonus. On the downside, the exhibition she curated as a pop up show has done well selling for the artist, but they got some flooding in the space with these storms. Fortunately no art was damaged and I believe she's hard at work with a shop vac and fan getting the space ready for the afternoon.

On a sorta shiny note I have a package still sitting at the Shenzen airport without any progress. Getting a bad feeling on it, but I'll give it another week before opening a ticket. No evidence it bounced back to FT but you never know.

My last ft package showed that for 11 days then showed up in the US but couldn't track down where, showed in Ohio last night. USPS has taken my last few orders on sightseeing trips, shame as they had been doing very well for me until here lately. Still only adds a couple more days to arrive so could be worse.

Somehow after building/wicking I'm back up to 6 setups in rotation. On the bright side the CAP sweet guava I bought to mix a clone (respect by the neighborhood) is a very pleasant surprise; recipe needs tweaking but heading in the right direction. The berry mango yogurt is rather good as well. Also relieved to find the ridiculous price I paid for MF lemon is going to be worth every penny.

Knowing @AngeNZ , my money is on her already having a backup to her now in use backup pair of flush cutters. Or already has another pair on the way...
Ange are you sure you weren't trying to cut 10g wire for your mega build?
Luna is soooo cute and looks to be quite the little helper, and/or comfort giver, after your cutters bit the big one.

@AngeNZ, if you've got an Amazon account I don't know if something like the Japanese made Engineer NS or NSX range of side cutters may be of any use.

Awesome day here ... I got the car washed, windows cleaned and vacuumed the inside. The kids next door asked me to play with them and their toy nerf gun thingies. Didn't have those as a kid, nope. It was fun even though I got bombarded haha. To be a kid again ... no, just a thought with all the cool stuff they have for kids these days.

Yes, very good news.
I heard back from sourcemore and tracking info for my rosefinch is now mysteriously working. Says mine will be here on Friday, awesome.
They also gave me yet another tracking site Track your parcel | WanbExpress and it may be of use to all.

Well a very late day today....good evening shinies. Still like an oven here so doing as little as possible. I got my nic delivery from Hiliq china yesterday and put it straight in the freezer. It had a tinge of yellow but I expect that is because of the heat at this time of year coming all that way although it was FedEx so it only took from Friday to Monday. I haven't tried it yet or even opened it but I expect it is fine....i'll try it when I feel better.

Still got this food poisoning...it's been 6 days now....sheesh

Nooo, don't throw it out yet. As long as you keep the doors of the fridge closed throughout, the insulation should keep your stuff safe for up to 18 hours. Not sure if it's been over that yet, but if not hang in. Maybe you'll get the generator going later if you're still without power and running the fridge for a few hours on that will return all to cold and able to handle another few hours if you still lack power.

NJ got hit bad. Plenty of rain in NY but no major failures but some smaller scattered ones. The streets around my daughter in Brooklyn required hip waders if you wanted to stay dry. Most has drained off by now.

Hope you feel better soon! I got food poisoning when I was at the U of Oxford off some late night street food bought coming back from the pubs/wine bars. You have my sympathy and wishes for it to (sorry) pass soon!
