Good morning Folks!!! :D

Busy day for me with a bunch of errands to run. Tracking for FT "says" an order is to be delivered today but I find that to be very amusing seeing as it is in NYC. Yeah, that ain't gonna happen. Using my FT/USPS foo, guesstimate and translation = Wednesday, Thursday or Fri optimistically thinking.

@charlie1465 , @Fredman1 - I don't know how much of this years TDF you watched but I was disappointed with how they handled stage 19. That morning they knew the weather was going to get bad and IMO should have had a "real" plan in place at the start of 19 in fairness to all. The Gendarmerie were pulled off and notified of the impending weather long before the tour officials had a clue it seemed. I'm happy for Bernal but I do believe he was gifted le tour. Alaphilippe was robbed but his time will come. I was pulling for him. The kid is a real firecracker and fighter...just the type France needs.

Alright, I have to get going, later all...

No worries. Mine says in NY too and I'm in NY. While it does say delivery today I'm not holding my breath. Face it. It'll get there when it gets there. The unseen price of buying cheap. I've learned to live with it.

I've dipped in and out as I usually do with the tour. Yes an unfortunate incident all round up in the Alpes. To be fair though you wouldn't have thought in a million years that the weather was going to take that kind of turn in mid summer....even if it was in the Alpes :)

I wish Bernal all the luck in the world...great for his hometown and country. The usual story with the rules....apple carts can easily get tipped up and end up rolling the wrong way :)

The temp chez nous is much better.....today was the perfect summer day 29 degrees and 23 in the house....lovely. Hope everything is good for you too :)

Good morning Shiny's
Received tracking numbers for the cold steel and bcf orders. Dreading setting up the new phone, going to take it to verizon and have them transfer the stuff from the old phone.
I’m “patiently” tracking my cold steel... I found our orders on google earth ;). Making progress !!!

In today's For :censored:'s Sake File ;)

I was cutting off a coil leg - 28 gauge (!!!!!) and snapped my flush cut pliers. No idea how, I mean you can snap off a 28ga leg with your fingers ;)

My coiling 'assistant' wasn't phased in the slightest, she purred through the whole thing ;)

;0) I've had that happen on the exact same cutters. It's pot metal construction. No tolerance in the design for cutting anything that requires a little extra force.

Thanks, all .

I HAVE to ask, and tell the truth.

Do all y'all really read every post here? I've seen busy threads but I've never seen anything like this one. I peek in sometimes just to look, and realize 46 pages have passed in 30 minutes, and...:lol:;)

"Done well", doesn't quite cover it. :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

Shiny, shiny, shiny...lemmeseee - have I got anything?

MY sentiments exactly! I sat down with a plate of spaghetti and the meal's gone, but I'm still two pages away from the end (and I skipped forward a few pages to make it that quick). Either I'm not dropping in often enough or there's too much going on to keep up!

I feel like I'll miss something important if I skip around. :w00t:

Yes I must admit it's a full time job....nearly :D Having said that though I didn't realise it was about the busiest thread in the forum....until today. Just goes to show that there are some very serious shinyitus cases around here........we need help :D:vapor::matrix:

Spent about four hours in the emergency room last night with kidney stones. I don't tell you this to get pity (though I certainly deserve it :D) but to say that I rediscovered how much I love my pico with a doggy on top. Had the doggy filled with my own peppermint-koolada mix and vaped like I owned the place.
Hope you are feeling better :)
