I promise I'll get to the surface soon :D
Cheers mate. It just so happens I heard back from FT, and I have $38 in credit there....only to be in two minds about getting the Surface. Think i'll leave that decision up to you ;)

UK & much further East.
Another vape review sample is delayed at UK customs as the sending agent has not labelled correctly.

I told them to please abide by the international rules when it happened a while ago, but same issue - they haven't labelled correctly! Must say TPD compliant and it's a sample for personal use and is not for resale.

I don't mind waiting, but I arranged to stay at home as it was set for delivery today, now it isn't. Grrrrrr.

This illustrates why I fell out of love with my birth country all thos many moons ago. What a ridiculously ''jobs worth'' and frankly stupid way of insisting on annoying addons which happen no where else in the Eurozone....certainly isn't a requirement here...

As you say it's just disruption for disruptions sake :-x:-x:-x

Good morning shiners! Nothing expected today, but a big juice order is expected tomorrow, and as it's a Fedex package, it likely will arrive. Also have an Amazon order due tomorrow which includes those micro pads should I decide to polish the Luna, and that heat gun to rewrap about 6 batteries. For whatever reason the mech squonks I have seem to beat up the corners of batteries, and as they're mech, rewrap for nicks is sorta a must. As to the Luna, it'll get here when it gets here, but I am checking 17Track a few times a day as a form of therapy.

Some pretties from my yard. Top is hardy hibiscus. That’s my small one, has been blooming for two weeks and still has dozens of buds the flowers are 7” across.

Sunflower sprouted from dropped bird seed. I don’t mind if the birds grow their own food rather than always mooch off me, lol.

Third one is a giant hardy hibiscus. It’s not very old - 2nd summer - and it’s not 3’ high yet. Should eventually go about 4-5’ tall. Flower is 7” across.

I had a giant that I lost last year. Fortunately I saved some seeds and sprouted one. I planted it last fall, and it’s just over 5’ high and has lots of buds, I’m very proud to say. I’ll post pictures when it blooms.

8))) I love Shepherds. Our fluffy white pensioner cat stole a big dogs tail a long time ago. She sweeps anything off a desk, her favourite is my mouse ... It's a useful "wake up hoomans" device too, but being beaten on the head at 0400 is not my idea of fun.
My dog Daphne has a big fluffy tail. Long and fluffy and she is always wagging it. When I have foster kittens they seem to think it is a feather toy and they jump at it to catch it. Daphne loses so much tail fur that way. I find long pieces of it everywhere

Good Morning Shiny's. Absolutely beautiful Delores. I love the hibiscus. It amazes me that the Okra flowers in our garden are so similar.

When I was in St Thomas, the Iguanas loved to eat the hibiscus flowers

We have some wild Iris growing by the retention pond in our sub-division

I keep finding 4 leaf clovers all over the place. Here's one to wish everyone a happy, lucky, and very shiny day.

I'm keeping the kid. He did all my dishes before 8 a.m. I made him I want to KEEP him. LOL.

I may have a slim chance. He asked me after Walmart, "So are all the women in this town this hot?" I explained that Douglas has a lot of cross border pollination resulting in a slightly Latina looking woman who doesn't need a lot of plastic surgery to not look like the Witch in Snow white once they hit 30 and their dispositions are better.

Now, I just need to find out the bar they hang out in and drop him there.

Sorry for all the racism I just want to keep my kid!

Plumbers (landlord says they are coming.... He thinks. IDK it's 8 am and the plumbers are not here yet, I hope they don't show up (I guess they could legit say it's too wet to dig but I can't do much without knowing a) if they are coming and b) if they want IN the house.

I am not leaving if they do because they stole my vat of 500 bar mops last time TOO. I will be following them everywhere and this may mean plumbers .... will be seen. With this lot, I am none too happy about it. BUT, WHAT can you do? It takes a LONG time to amass that many bar mops.

Jerks.

(I include my landlord in this he is trying to ruin my life, I swear.

Wow, I’d grow okra just for the flowers. So pretty. I can’t eat that stuff though lol.

And I love iguanas. I’ve had a few of them. Not sure how I’d feel if they were munching on my hibiscus.

Yeah, I’m not fond of Okra either. My sweet Chinese wife loves it though

Yes we only live in UK some of the time, it's gone to the dogs there.

Phoned UPS as they never communicate that there is a problem, you have to interpret the tracking stock phrases then try to find the correct dept to call. UPS, like many big carriers, act as paid agents for the customs and excise authorities in many countries. Inevitably they try to show how efficient and effective they are in order to keep the contract by being nitpicking jobsworths!

Told UPS 1. It's a TPD compliant device marked "sample" that I have not paid for 2. it's for a review that I do for personal interest. They released it a few hours later, I still don't know who sent it and what it is.

If only those companies who send me samples would play ball though and label as above properly, I wouldn't get all the hassle. Going by comments here Chinese companies need to up their game with comms and dispatch fast.
