I saw this and my trigger finger got itchy. It’s a hybrid though... anything I need to know, aside from you can’t use certain atties with them?

One thing you do need to know (though I think you already might)!

The Rosefinches do have a rather powerful magnetic pull.

I think I posted this shortly after I received my first Rosefinch. I set the RF on the kitchen table and this Luna came sliding across the table by the power of the RF magnets.

I did the same thing with a Colossal but was too chicken to remove my hand and snap a photo just in case. But yes, a RF will easily pickup a Colossal with battery and atty.

That is a really sharp looking setup. I don't have any hybrids but I found this: "Only rda's/rta's with a protruding non-adjustable center pin (at least 1 mm) is safe to use." copied from here What atomizer can i use on a hybrid connection?

And yes, I do windows too. ;) Those got cleaned last week.

Played with mtl fused clapton wire this morning. Need to order more, as I see me doing a lot of playing with them ;)

Stuck one in the hussar v1 clone rda. It's an anti-clockwise coil deck. Every time I wrap a coil for it, I forget and wrap it clock-wise. Of course I did this with clapton wire  Retried and had success. Usually I wrap like a dogs dinner anticlockwise. But with clapton wire, my anti coil was a hell of a lot better wrapped than my favoured clockwise - figure that one out
Installed it, pulsed it - got the pretty colours , spent a bit more time admiring the colours, checked for hot spots and wicked the lil pecker.

Ramp up time was impressive, only slightly, a smidge, lower than 28ga. It was 30*2/40ga ss316l. Did a 6 wrap 2.5mm id coil, came out about 0.55ohms.

Flavour was just awesome - Tomorrows project - claptonize the Project X :D

I'm still stuck on the whole "figure that one out" bit. o_O I don't understand why they made the deck backwards from all their other decks. I figure it had to be a new designer who doesn't vape.
That deck got me too with ... anti-clockwise. Once.
And no picture of your puuurdy coil. :grr: You're slackin'.

I don't know where to crow! I can't tell you how proud I am of doing it. Not convinced I love the Kraken, but the afterglow of having managed to build it still burns brightly. And vaping it on the successfully reassembled Rosefinch (those magnets put up quite a fight) makes my pride almost too heavy to bear.

The Kraken really belongs on the Cthulhu. Those two sweet cephalopods deserve to be together. Problem is, the Cthulhu is stainless. The Kraken is brass, so on the Rosefinch it must remain.

Our newbie coilogist Zazie built this behemoth Vicious Ant Kraken RTA a few days ago. Here's what the deck and RTA look like:

The deck scares me, so I'm amazed she not only attempted it, but was able to get it completely up and running

Yeah, it's the only thing that annoys me about the deck. But that's pretty minor, especially as I wrap claptons better anti-cw anyway ;)

Coil pics will be coming - can't really compete in the coil porn business with 28ga single wire, so I have some catching up to do :D

I'm sure I saw @Tralfaz post a pic of his a few days ago - it is stunning
That's a beautiful setup at an amazing price. I'd go for it. It's rare to find anywhere near that quality for that price. I have the black over brass version and I love it. It's one of my favorites. Most modern RDA's are hybrid safe. Just make sure the pin protrudes out from the 510 and there's some insulation around it. Check your bulds on a regulated mod before mounting the RDA to the mech and keep your battery wraps in good shape. The MDX has some lining for extra protection, too. It's simple to be safe with a mech. Mostly just common sense. The real danger is getting hooked like I am and going mech crazy with your vape budget :D

Aw, you bragged for me. That's so nice.

Re the building, relative ignorance made me braver than usual.

Lol. Meeting sister who lives in Australia there... Haven't seen her for 6 years. Paris is quite calm in August because everyone has gone on holiday so a good time to go really :)

Last time I was in Paris (cue titles, roll music) changing train stations it was so durn hot and the air quality was so bad I felt dizzy, as I had time to spare I had started to walk dragging bags, ended up in a taxi asking for the air-con to be set to full - which is what every traffic jammed vehicle was doing hence the smog.

Love Paris but not in the summer heat. Enjoy!!
