afternoon all.
FT have sent my BB malfunction video to SXK apparently. not anticipating a quick resolution.
got my kelpie. what a fantastic wee single coil rta. wound a 3mm staggered fused 316L. very little rayon needed in the ports. flavour galore. semi restricted fully open.

Do you have a Gear? I'm wondering how much different the Kelpie and Gear are for small single coil RTAs.

The only shiny vape mail I received was yet another Zeus X but in blue. I wish the originals came out with more colors. Besides that I received a package of bubble glass for the Zues Singles. I ran out of the few I had so now I can swap out the straight tanks I recently bought and still have a few backup glass.

I know not everyone loves the bubble glass look but for me it's pretty sweet looking. Only problem is u can't really use a tank protector since it blocks the top when filling it up

Oh I need a couple of these for my middle aged eyes and MS / Fibro trembling hands!!!!
How did no on one think of this before! It's brilliant!!
I think it would be easy to rig one for oneself using a bit of wire.

And, yes, the vertigo stems from MS. In combination with impaired proprioception it makes for a very wobbly existence.

Look who just cruised by, an American dagger moth caterpillar.

No idea. I only know the dagger because it’s poisonous, and we’ve had them before. Just when I’d get the kids not to be afraid of the bugs, we’d have to tell them not to touch, lol.

american_dagger_moth_04.jpg American Dagger (Acronicta americana)
IMO poisonous is a questionable term to use in this Noctuidae's case. More common in common terms is that they have stinging hairs. FWI, urticating setae are subjective when it comes to how individual people react to them, and depends on what they are susceptible to. The term is derived from Urtica (Latin for the Nettles), a genus of plants where some of its species hare hairs that can 'sting' you, especially if contacted in soft skin areas (between fingers, back, etc). In the US species the discomfort varies from species to species, from all but unnoticeable to irritating and in the tropics to dangerous. Most urticating caterpillars in the US are from less than to no worse than tangling with a stinging nettle species (ie, Urtica diorca). The most notorious in the US for its painful sting is the Saddleback (Acharia stimulea) that is widespread in the eastern US. But in the tropics there are caterpillar species that are cryptic and gregarious that if heavily stung by enough of them can become an emergency that can lead to death.

The Saddleback's range... Since they are polyphagous feeders they can be found in many different habitats.

Here in the west the Hemileucinae (Buck Moths) are notable stingers. Their sting is reminiscent of stinging nettles, but with a soft touch they can be picked up with the pads of your finger tips without getting stung.

A western species... Hemileuca electra electra (Saturnidae)

You know those are asMODus mech's right? asMODus Rosefinches
here and for only $23.90: asMODus Rose Finch Mechanical Mod single 18650
They are super nice. Some sites are selling them for $180.
I lost track of how many people here bought them.

I was very very tempted join the Rose Finch Club and get myself one when I bought my Luna.
But I restrained myself, 1 mod at a time is enough for me.:D
So I'll just be a Certified Squeezin' Lunatic for now:lol::lol::lol:

Ugggghhh.. I'm waiting for my Luna any day now. My first buy from sourcemore and there's cr*p for tracking so I'm nervous and kicking myself for getting the white mosaic instead of the red. Maybe I'll get another if they don't run out. Or the Rose Finch. I went back and forth between the two.

Brass is easier to match, although black works, I think. I’m awaiting a rose gold atty and using it with a rainbow one for now.
Thanks so much for posting the pics :wub:

I think the brass is easier to match but drooling over the copper the rose gold looks killer :wub:

Not to be politically incorrect but a caterpillar that can kill me shouldn't qualify for any endangered species protection from the sole of my shoe.

Caterpillars can kill?? That's almost as bad as watching a praying mantis eating a lizard. Yes, it was on Twitter, but the video looks totally legit.

If you’re talking about source more Lunas, you did right getting the white mosaic first. Those are sold out. Still had red ones last night. Yes, I was looking ... and then I remembered I already bought one.
