I like a warm vape, so I usually run at the highest wattage recommended, and close the airflow about half way down. I also discovered since switching to sub oHm a couple months ago, I like lots of flavor and lots of cloud:)
Well you should be alright with most DL rda's. I recently started using some single coil restricted direct lung rda's too and they're now my favourite's so try those perhaps to see what you think. Something like the Venna or the NarEa can be bought on FT for peanuts.

In fact FT is a really good source for really cheap rda's to test. Glad you're enjoying your Phobia :)

It's always best to try a small patch of sanding on somewhere unseen like the base of the mod to make sure all is well :)

Sounds like Asmodus may help if sourcemore don't. Glad its getting sorted. Good luck.

Well, you sure were right on polishing the resin. Did a test area and it looked great. I've done the back and one side and that's enough for today. My thumbs are aching after that. Started with regular 220 sandpaper then kept going all the way down to the very finest micro mesh and it looks amazing. I wish I had my Dremel. This could all be done a lot faster with a lot less Tylenol. Thanks for giving me the push to give it a shot!

Take a look at the Carnage, Apocalypse and Goon RDAs. There are really quite a few good side airflow dual coil RDAs that will give you the vape you describe. My favorite is the Carnage. With that being said, if you don't have an Apocalypse you really should.

That’s what’s stopping me. I need a power tool of some sort for the sanding. I’ve sanded exactly one thing by hand in my life. Never again. That was lilac wood though, really hard stuff. Amazing that those delicate blooms sprout on the ends of iron branches.

I second Don's recommendation for the Apocalypse. I love that teardrop AFC and the deck is good for all kinds of builds. They're not making them anymore, so if you want one grab it sooner than later. The new 25mm isn't quite as good, IMO but it still has that great AFC. Most side air RDA's of similar diameter will give similar performance, though. It really all comes down to personal preference for the deck design, materials and aesthetics.

I'm really glad it's working out. and yes it's a breeze with a rotary sander on a drill. On the plus side though the hand sanding is still necessary when you have odd shapes to get into...

I will look forward to a pic :)

I just bought a really cheap rotary kit that fits in any drill. It was velcro'd and come with pre-fitted pads. You just velcro on the correct grit and then go up easily to the next grit when you're ready :)

Tried the new mods just to make sure they all work, and they do.

Initial thoughts... Crea is just a tad big, similar in height and depth to Luna, but wider. Really hard to get the battery in and out, but it may loosen up over time.

The Rams are smaller and fit better in my hand, and the battery goes in easy. I don’t love the gold hardware but no big deal.

All the doors fit very well. No rattles anywhere.

Could just be my imagination but neither seems to hit as hard as the Luna. Not bad, especially for the money.

Thanks. I may look into that after I get the garage under control. I have three drills I know of, and there may be a rotary tool that fits one of them out there somewhere.

eBay has vape mods listed again. Someone is selling two Provari Procyons for $500 each!!!!!!

That seems pretty high to me but I’m no Provari expert.
And you need not be.......that's ridiculous. Although, you never know what billionaire vaper might come along and buy it. Do billionaires shop on ebay?

I'm looking for the Kayfun of RDAs, something that will last forever (well, a long, long time) and mimic the draw of a Kayfun. Does such an animal exist? I have a long list of MTL RDAs, many of which I've already purchased, and I know or at least suspect that they are more likely to keep going for a long time than RTAs, because they're simpler machines, but I'd like to get a bunch of solid, durable, reliable RDAs for the vapeocalypse hoard, and I know you helpful souls will have suggestions.

And, with that run-on sentence, I leave this in your capable hands.
