Good morning Shiny's. I don't understand what is happening to the notifications for this thread. I have been here dozens of times over the weekend, and still none. I have even been giving everyone ratings as usual. I am still getting notifications from threads I rarely visit. I even tried unwatcing and then rewatching a few times, and still no notifications. Anyone know what's going on?

BTW...A friend of mine is giving me a Dead Rabbit rda on Wednesday for my birthday. I am so excited

Do vent holes in a mech tube really make that much difference? It's not like they are going to make it any safer if the battery goes thermal.

If it gets hot toss it, it's not like you would try to take the battery out.

From my reading on the mech mod forum, vents are desirable to allow internal pressure relief so that nothing blows off the mod. Still need to toss it.

Mind you I've always felt that there would be be time to remove the battery as it started to get warm. If you were holding it you'd know way before things got critical.

Having said that that guys I would council everyone to just toss it as suggested

My Asmodus Rose Finch in Brass has arrived from Sourcemore! Pretty quick, 9 days door to day .

Quick question for everyone that got one from Sourcemore. Did yours come with extra earth magnets? Mine came with an extra 510 pin but no extra earth magnets.

There’s not many reviews on it. I found 1 in English, 1 in Russian? And 1 in Japanese. It seems that the ones who received 2-4 years ago had the extra magnets but the most recent Japanese review only contained the extra 510 pin.

I was just going to post that, batteries can get hot inside long before you feel it through the casing.

If the mech tube is hot and not just from RDA heat transfer then, I would say the battery has already suffered damage.

You might have noticed that I left a ton of FB groups recently, just needed to purge some of the onslaught of information, it was getting out of hand. Still active in the group's I admin though.

And you? I see your stash is growing in leaps and bounds.

I was going to swap the squonk pin for the blind pin for use on a Rose Finch. The blind pin (right) doesn’t have that insulator on it though, and I don’t think I’ll wrestle it off the other pin in one piece. It screws in flush without it. Is there somewhere I can buy those insulators? Or should I just use a pin from another RDA?

I believe that the black ring that’s on the blind pin is the insulator.

I unscrewed my C4 with the blind pin in to show you. I don’t have a Bunker but I do think the black ring around your blind pin is the insulator.

On the C4 the insulator is on the bottom of the atty.
