I think it looks nice too Eskie as it is but I was surprised at my stabwood arriving and not being all glowy and sparkly and etc. IDK why, but it is what it is. I polished as directed but I refuse to freaking DREMEL it I am not even sure if I know what a Dremel is. I just appreciate it's vape and not sparkly appearance as best I can and thank the lord that I did not fall for stabwood mods, because before ALL THE LIGHTS GO OUT, I will be buying another 27100 Dani, that is for sure.

But at least we stole the show.... Is it time for that video again yet?? OH, I think so, I so perfectly describes vaping as we know it in a way.

I am listening to it the whole way through... again... hee.. Singing along.

@Eskie, nice bit of stabwood on that Luna and the colours look great. A simple oil and wax would be nice and really make the details in the stabwood and the colours pop.

At this price point you just are not going to see the hours of finishing and polishing needed. I know that and am prepared to put some time in. Even then, you only have to take it as far as you want. A nice satin is great or you can spend endless time going for a mirror surface. I'll take this one to satin and see if that does it. As to a Dremel or drill, that's just to make it easier and faster, you can do well by hand if you're patient.

Thanks. i'm just happy to have one working. I loved number one, and was super disappointing when the autofire thing happened. Number two here is different, but I guess that's the whole point of stabwood, they're all unique. It's certainly not going to be confused with the other, but that's of a good thing. They each have their own "personality". And this one is the good child who hasn't misbehaved. Big points on that alone.

Working is always good @Eskie.

Main thing I've noticed with stabwood, is that for mirror finish it needs to be coated in some form of surface finish such as cyanoacrylate. As I've tried micro-meshing, oiling and polishing a SXmini SL Class and it ended up going sort of a matt satin finish.

I think #2 is lovely and I would not be disappointed to receive one like that. Glad it’s working as it should.

So I got a surprise package today, my replacement Luna in purple! Didn't even get a head's up from tracking it was in the neighborhood.

It's kinda, green! And all wood, no resin to be seen.

But it looks sorta cool. I'll definitely give it a several laps to be sure it behaves well before touching the surface with any sandpaper, but at least it's a new toy, which should count as shiny, even if it looks a little flat now, right?

No, nothing inbound. Ivape refunded my money for the dovpo vee but didn't respond to my email. No explanation for lack of communication prior to the refund so they're off my radar now. CS communication is important to me.

If you ever decide to trust the first one again, you know that secretly you're going to love it more. Prodigal child returned to the fold and all that.
