Good morning shiners! So no acting out by Luna into this morning. I think this one is the good child. Maybe an exorcism will help the evil one. Too bad the priest died at the end of that movie, seemed like just the sort to tame any devil and save me from opening the thing up and doing actual electrical inspection work.
Oh, Lunatics, isn't the little light supposed to tell me the battery level? I had a green light but an anemic cool vape and found the battery was down to 3.6V when I popped it out to check what was up. On my regular mechs I find under 3.8V very noticeable and I was ready to label this as having bad voltage sag, as I thought the green light meant a full battery. I know, RTFM but that's only my last resort. Perked right up with a fresh battery.
@stols001 that's a dreidel, sorta like a top. A Dremel is a very handy small drill with about 800 attachments to do all sorts of precision small jobs. Couldn't have run my reef tanks without one to customize all the stuff that needed customization.
@Mordacai the evil child ended up a satin finish but the resin part ended up super shiny. I'll be very happy getting this one to a satin finish to make the colors pop without going for a mirror gloss. The cyanoacrylate clear coat scares me as I can just see the mod, half my furniture, and me, all stuck together for eternity. And no, I won't use acetone to free myself, it'll ruin the mirror finish I worked so hard for.
