So the Luna has landed and she's a beauty for sure

I love the feel of wood so i'm not going to gloss her up. Will just rub some linseed oil on her. I'm a minimalist...what can I say. Got two complaints though. She's a bit on the big side. My Luxotic Surface is way smaller, and lies much better in the hand. Other problem is the bottle

That's the deepest I can insert it. Haven't fussed with it yet as i'm working. Will have a look tonight what the problem is....
Your Luna looks awesome!!! :D

From your photo it looks like maybe the squonk tube needs to be inserted into the bottle further. On my Luna's I have the tube touching the bottom of the bottle. Also if you take VG, or juice, and put some on the squonk pin that will help with removing the bottle. Hope that helps bud.

One of mine did that. It’ll loosen up after a couple goes. Sure is pretty!

I got a Tripod and another a kayfun.

The conclusion of my drama: I checked for loose legs and stray bits of wire. Didn't find anything: legs trimmed flush, screws tight, and coil stable. Grimm Green said it wasn't necessary to install the air flow control, so I hadn't bothered with it, but I stuck it in just to see if for some reason that would make a difference. Put the reassembled atty back on the ohm reader: no reading at all. Stuck it on the Colossal: reading 1.27 ohms and vaping fine. I thought maybe the tab had been damaged somehow, but it read another atty, which I knew had a .5 ohm coil, with no problem. I think the plastic air flow insert in the Kayfun insert interferes with the connection somehow, which is stupid and annoying.

At least it's working and the vape is lovely (good thing: I bought five more of them without even trying the one I had). But I am worn out. I had already struggled building the Project X (I found the sunken deck difficult to work with) so I went into the job tense and tired. Wrapping the coil, installing it, and wicking went extremely well, however, so I was pretty happy. Then that error message showed up. Much swearing ensued. All's well that ends well and all that, but I am now ready to take a nice hot bubble bath to calm down.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. It helped. See you after I soak a while.

    Congrats ;)

I'm happy you managed to get your KFL19 going. As long as the nylon AF insert is inside the 510 you're fine (not protruding from the bottom). I have mine installed about 0.5mm inside the 510 but I may run it without it altogether as Q and a few others do.
I'm going to take it out again tomorrow and see if the Tab 21 will consent to read the resistance.
Did you get your Project X going? Let me know if you need help.
It worked well right off the bat. I just found the coil a little fiddlier to install than usual and poking the wick through the coil to be awkward because of the sunken deck. My eyes weren't working well, which had a lot to do with my difficulties.
You finally got a Tripod. Cool. I think you'll really like it.
I'm pretty excited about it. I'm glad I didn't let myself buy one directly from Atmizoo when I ordered my Creeks because the few bucks' saving made me feel better about the extravagance (I have spent SO much money these last few weeks).
I hope you have an awesome bubble bath and relax!!! :D
Thanks, @ShowMeTwice. It did the trick. Now if it would just start raining again so that I can fall asleep to it, my recovery will be complete.

I need help, my friends. I just built the Kayfun Lite 2019. The coil read 1.13 ohms after pulsing, then 1.25 after wicking and priming. So far, so good. Filled the tank, screwed on the base, popped the atty on a Colossal, and got a "low atomizer" error. Took the atty off the mod and put it back on the ohm reader: 0.03 ohm. Unscrewed the base from the tank and returned it to the ohm reader: 1.25 ohms. This has happened again and again. What is wrong???
Zazie that's almost certainly a coil leg or the coil itself touching the chimney when you screecitvback together. Sorry if someone already answered this question.... I'll find out in a minute and I plough on through the unread stuff :)

Honestly, I have no idea what I did. Something, clearly, but darned if I know what did the trick.
The only other possibility is the positive post and the peek insulator. I would remove it and check that it's clean and all seated correctly. This is often the cause of jumping resistances not the tightness of screws on wire
    :)

    Guys?

Does anyone know a good source for 18500 batteries to fit the Provari and preferably not the US?

Fogstar in the UK don't stock them and the favoured EU supplier Nkon does but is always out of stock. In fact they are listed as a preferred supplier by Mooch but I've never ordered because even the most popular Batt's are always out of stock when I look....

Get on the email wait list to get a stock alert.. 18500's are difficult to come by these days.

Yes I may do that thanks :)

I recently got myself an emerald green Provari 2.5 and I want the ability to run it as it was supposed to be ran. I pushed the switch this morning on some emerald green extension end caps so I will be able to use 18650's but then you lose the SS end cap with the design's on and I bought it as more of a show piece than daily beater and wanted it to look its best

Beautiful color! And the Recurve looks great on it. Glad you corrected the bottle issue, the tubing can be a little problematic.

    @charlie1465 great looking panels!
