afternoon all.
rather stormy. the commute is sponsored by slipknot.
nothing shiny showing any signs of arrival.
have sold 300ml of liquid in 2 days. so ordered a few concentrates and VG. got nic in the postal system somewhere. digging the licorice and anise side of things currently. also straight flavour art orange is rather tasty. nice bit of zest and not overly sweet.
@Letitia liking the sound of the more robust button on the CS. don't think i need another though as the SL is similaraand I'm more dual battery inclined.
speaking of which there's a new uwell mod out that takes dual 21700s. it has a ridiculous name which I've since forgotten but it looks rather good.

Fire button is only slightly firmer so you aren't missing much. Good to hear your juice sales are good. I occasionally toy with the idea of getting into anise flavors, what's a couple good flavors to look into?

I've been enjoying a blackjack from arte italiano (possible spelling errors there) and an absinthe from flavor west. both tickle the taste buds rather nicely

Your Luna isn't regulated but it is chipped with safety features that limit the output to 80W. Your tubes are free to draw whatever power they need from the battery, so that's most likely what's contributing to the difference in longevity.

Brilliant ! Thank, my friend. But I will clean my contacts and look into more suitable batteries, as well. The 21700s were one of Mooch’s picks, but I think there are better18650s out there. I just kinda found something decent and keep buying the same.

I've had great results with Samsung 20S for my 18650 mechs. The high CDR takes any worry away when building low like I love to do. Recently though, I've been running the newer Molicel 18650s which are just as safe but last a bit longer. Check 'em out -

All of them. I’ve even swapped the squonk pin with a blind pin and put the exact atty/build from a Luna to any tube, 18650 or 21700, and I just can’t get any serious run time.

I have Rose finches, the Dreamer, MDX mods, Soulkeepers... none of them even come close to Lunas.

I don’t get it. I was just wondering if this was a quirk of tube mods.
That sounds like some serious voltage drop somewhere. Have you tried taking t
@charlie1465, I don't know if you have Netflix or it's even your thing. But I can recommend the animated show Big Mouth, it's extremely wrong and funny. Just the thing when your down.
Hey thank you.... I don't but I can sign up on the smart TV :)

In addition to the contacts clean all the threads, the button housing, and you may want to pick up some dielectric grease. Opinions vary on the effectiveness of it but it can't hurt and it is cheap. If nothing else, it will protect the threads during battery changes and it keeps the threads from tarnishing so fast. The body of yhe mod is the circuit in tube mechanicals so all the connections are important to its performance

My new favorite 18650 batteries are the Vapcell 2800 mah / 25 A. They've taken over from the Sony VTC5a in my mechs. Great life for such a high cdr rating. According to Mooch they're re-wraps of Sony vtc5d. Here's his review.
