I was actually fairly depressed about coming home at first. "Depressed" is an exaggeration but I felt sad. I got on the final flight which is a 9-passenger Cessna which flies from Boston into a small (tiny) airport in the Adirondacks (there was only one other passenger LOL). It was cloudy and we were above the clouds. Really pretty. I closed my eyes for a while, and when I opened them and looked out, the clouds were gone and we were flying over Lake Champlaign. I looked out and saw very little civilization. Lots of coniferous trees and patches of golden Tamaracks. Lake after lake after lake. Then - uncharacteristically - the plane flew within a stone's throw of the summit of Whiteface Mountain. I could make out some of the alpine vegetation we were so close.

And I stopped feeling sad at that moment. This country is amazing. So many different types of beauty from coast to coast. Then seeing my family was the best feeling ever. There's something to be said about stepping away for a while. Really makes one appreciate what they have at home I live on a beautiful lake, and it's not frozen yet, so who am I to complain.

But the desert southwest is so incredibly beautiful. I'm stoked to go back, hopefully in a year or two.

So great to hear you say that about this country. It is beautiful. Matter of fact, this world is beautiful and I hope we can preserve it for our children and theirs.

I know it may be illogical, but I feel like 18650s have more uses and are likely to be available longer than 21700s??? Someone school/correct me??

With all the uses 18650's have I don't see them going anywhere. Same with 21700's.
The 18650 flashlights alone will keep those around for a long time.

Got some vape mail recently and today. First came the PSO Desire X Mini but I wouldn't call it a mini, it's pretty tall and heavy but a well built mod and board.

I love A Perfect Circles version. Dark - not like the original, very different sound and feel. Check it out if you haven't. Not everyone's cup of tea but worth a listen

The original is a hopeful and idealistic vision of the future by a dreamer. The perfect circles version spins it 180, doom, disillusionment, and despair. Watching them together, they're like musical snapshots of what it's like waking up to the dark side of in an imperfect world. Reminds me of the late 90's.

You know what I'm going to recommend

For me it is handfeel and size. I'd go for another Dani mini. Unless you'll an on increasing your wattage one day - then the 21700 would be the best bet

And 21700 batteries shouldn't go anywhere - they are used in flashlights, electric scooters and Tesla cars

I’m not exactly blowing through 18650s at 13.5w . Honestly, on the trip I took two istick 40s (2800 mAh maybe?) and got through a whole day on just one no problem. The mini sure fits nice in hand or pocket. Plus, they have electric blue in stock

We hardly had any kiddos, too “cold” (that arctic drop below 60* ). But, himself is happy because I made him promise not to eat any until we went lights out. Last year I had more candy and we still ran out, but at least not until after all the cute bitties had been by.

Thanks I love animals. she’s not white though she’s golden! Haha That’s why baby is named Goldie. There was a white one that was outside my work but I’m pretty sure that was the one who got caught by a bird of prey someone found the head of a rabbit and decided to take a photo and show everyone laughing about it. He’s special needs so I didn’t get mad but he kept telling me stuff about it how bees were coming out of it’s eyes and stuff. I just said I don’t think it’s very funny and it better not be my rabbit. I was worried it may have been Stevie (momma)it looked like it may of been but sure enough she was waiting by my truck for me after work. I always look under my truck for bunnies lol
Or honk my horn when picking stuff up with a forklift to warn any bunnies that may be sleeping in dangerous spots

I guess they’re worried about tankers running aground. I get weather alerts on my phone and it’s been blowing up all night with small craft advisories. Next on my list I need some help with!!! I want a mech (NOT hybrid) with a side fire button, if that exists, and a lock function of some kind. I have both regular and hybrid, all with bottom buttons. I don’t build below 0.8 typically, on my mechs usually closer to 1/1+. Clone is fine if the quality is good. I don’t want to spend a mint. Got to spend that dough on the dicodes

Momma bunny is safe back here and I’ve been leaving her water and a bowl of food everyday. I just keep topping it up when I see it’s gone. She lets me pet her gently now and comes running up to me when I come around the corner to fill up the food. Tonight she had a 5 course meal of rabbit pellets hay,carrots then bannna and a bit of oranges. Her Baby hasnnt come around all day I’m a little worried but hopeful he’s out exploring. He was so tiny though.

Baby bunny would pick the carrots and fruit out of the dish and leave the hay/pellets behind haha

I always joke and say rabbits are a protected species around here. People know not to mess with my rabbit friends I usually hang with them instead of humans on my lunch breaks. That’s how I like it
