Theoretically, it should stainless? Worth a gentle sanding to test. You’d have to be able to disassemble it down to just the outer metal only tank piece for a chemical.
I just remembered. I know a jewelry maker who specializes in all kinds of metals. Maybe she would know. She's a vaper, too.

I wish you and Stevie the best. If you succeed what do you think will become of her offspring and the others? Do they hang in the lumber yard, too, or just Stevie?
Just Stevie her baby and others stay up front outside the yard . Stevie is a lumber yard bunny but after saving her life a couple times from people in forklifts I worry about her

@muth, hydrofloric acid which is sold as patio cleaner may well work with removing the Rainbow. May well be worth looking into.

And unfortunately with the UK health service (NHS), there's so many obstacles. As GP's don't want to refer to specialists for diagnostics and over step their bounds routinely and diagnose patients, then there's so many different 3rd party providers with an emphasis on making money and not spending it.

Understandable. I'm sure you'll figure out how to resolve this the best way possible for all of you. I'm so touched by your caring and will send a prayer.

I'm home! :)

My (step) son had to work today so we decided to come home today instead of staying an extra day since we couldn't spend any more time with him if we stayed another night..

Had a great time though - and so did hubby! They got a nice buck Thursday morning, and Thanksgiving dinner was awesome! We made 2 Turkeys - one smoked and one baked - and one ham, along with every imaginable trimming and had few left overs... the house was absolutely packed with people and a lovely time was had with everyone - grandkids included!

I doubt I'll be able to walk for the next week but it was SO worth it! haha.. the best kind of pain is this kind..

We had no cell signal not long after going into West Virginia and I felt so cut off from the world... haha it was actually kind of nice really...

But great trip and visit overall.. I'm happy - that was lovely to get to go see them all..

I am 357 posts behind so I'm not going to try catching up here so I do hope I'm not missing much in all those posts. I hope everyone got many new shiny items and a lovely Thanksgiving!

I'm sorry to hear your back in the hospital with anemia again @charlie1465 - I'm still praying for you, hopefully this is just one more bump that's easily dealt with.

@Mordacai - sounds like you need to see a neurosurgeon... I'm sorry to hear your dealing with so much pain and frustration.. :(

My love to all, and I'll see you all in the morning.. for now, bed time! (yea!) haha..

Hmm, I have a patio paver shampoo. That's what they call it. I should check the contents for hydrofloric acid.

Idk what to say about the healthcare dilemma. Are you feeling any better? Did they suggest anything?....cold packs, soaking, anything?

Can you sand off a rainbow finish? @Bigfoot77 or anyone else here?
I'm not sure how it was applied. Diluted white vinegar with a non-abrasive cloth is supposed to work on stainless steel cookware that has changed color due to a rainbow from heat oxidization. Not sure if it would work, but it would be cheap to try, especially if you have some in the house already. Maybe try lemon juice, if the vinegar doesnt work. I haven't done this, but a google search might provide some ideas on dilutions, methods etc. Good luck, I hope you figure it out.

Feel better everyone! Vape room-- I am hitting the bottom. Heh. Yoga was also pleasant. One more ricola and my freaking ZENITH just stopped reading ? Confusion. Perhaps I need a coil change, I think I will not be good for much apres dinner but I am also STARVING.

Gotta get back on track tomorrow I think.

Black Friday shinyitis and the MA vape ban is making me nuts. I'll just buy the darn rainbow RTA. It's so cheap. What am I complaining about? Thx everyone for your help and suggestions. I'll have a science experiment when it gets here, lol.
You could always get some vinyl wrap and wrap it if the other solutions don't work. They make some really nice designs in vinyl. Maybe wrap your mod and really get matchy!

Sara, where do you buy your bubble glass for your Zeus singles? Could you link me up?
Sara, where do you buy your bubble glass for your Zeus singles? Could you link me up?

use to be able to get them cheap on eBay but this place has decent prices. Funny thing is the package comes from China. Probably the same company I used on eBay.

suggestion- make sure to CLEARLY mark which atty it’s for. I buy extra bubble glass for any RTAs that I like (I’m more rda but have a few RTAs I enjoy) because I have several packages of bubble glass and can’t remember which atty they are for lol!! I THOUGHT I had marked them but honestly I never thought I’d be buying more RTAs and certainly not extra glass!! So I have to figure them out and label them clearly!!! Make life easy for yourself!!

Sorry to hear that you're not too great at the moment @charlie1465, hope you feel better soon. Seems we're all having weird issues of some sort.

I had to go to hospital on Thursday 28/11 @22:00, due to a massive amount of pain, numbness and altered sensation in my right arm and shoulder with swelling as well. Had a horrible time as I can't leave my partner by herself as she's my support network and also has muscular dystrophy (still don't know exactly what type) and she has to use a wheelchair out and about due to some mobility limitations.

Was sent from A+E to an out of hours doctors and had to wait 5 hours to see a doctor, who then said the same thing as the paramedic that assessed me. It's neurological, and I don't know why you've been sent here as we can't do anything here.

So was then sent back to A+E with the use of only one arm and not given any help with getting me and my partner there. So had to suck it up and do it, which raised my righteous indignance levels to 11.

Had X Ray's of shoulder and forearm after another assessment in A+E where bloods were taken and promised a ultrasound scan, was then sent to an ambulatory care unit in the hospital which was more of a joke. As they wanted to take bloods, even though they had been taken. They didn't even check the system for them!...

As at this point they're thinking that I could have a VTE or clot without anything in the blood work confirming it!...

Got the right arm ultrasound scanned, and of course me being me. Asked the ultrasonographer what they were seeing and they were wonderful, and confirmed no VTE whatsoever.

So back to this ambulatory care unit, where when I was called again the staff member could see that I had limitations and was racked with pain, and they walked off so that I had to pursue them.

They then promptly reiterate no VTE and can see that I have issues and discharge me form their care, and then complain about my attitude towards them without looking at their own!..

So at 12:00 29/11, that's 14 hours folks. I was kicked to the curb without any real idea what the problem is and nothing really put into place to find out either. And aren't they're supposed to have a duty of care!...

So not a great experience at all, and my partner is worried sick about me. And yes, she can be a pain. But she's my pain and I don't know what I'd do without her.

That’s a horrible experience for you and your partner!!!! I’m so sorry you had to go thru that. I hope you see a neurologist very soon so they can find out what’s happening.
Terrible health “care” :-x !!

Okay, I'm getting crazy. The walls are closing in on us MA residents and I'm trying to order things and getting shot down. I found an RTA where I won't get shot down but it's a rainbow which I don't want. Can I sand away the finish? I'll even try acid if that works. Anyone know?

I don’t suppose it’s available on Fastech? You probably already checked though. I’ve actually grown to like my rainbow atties. They work great with my many colored stabwoods and other mods.

A bit of a light sand should do the trick, it's only a paint finish on the RTA:)

So happy to hear you're in remission, @charlie1465. Now that's something for which to give thanks.

I'm curious: Did they harvest your own stem cells before you underwent chemo? Or are you getting some from someone else?
Thanks Zazie... I'm just going into the process of stem cell harvesting now. Actually I wondered the same same thing...you would think that the harvest would occur before the chemo but I guess it doesn't matter. Yesterday I started a course of twice a day injections which draw my stem cells from my bone marrow into my blood which they will then extract next week in a machine a bit like dialysis. They will then be frozen and I can relax for Christmas :)

Thanks everyone for your thoughts :)
