Good morning shiners! Off to find some coffee. i better be able to find it or I won't be back her until tomorrow.
Afternoon, Eskie. Idk why but something told me to address this question to you. I placed an order on 3FVape last night. PayPal accepted my payment. As you know, at that point they redirect you back to the vendor's site and the vendor displays your order number with a thank you. Well.......I was redirected back to 3FVape but no order number! I checked my order history...nothing. Then I noticed there were still items in my cart. Yup sure enough, there were my items still in my cart, no order processed but my money taken. I opened a ticket with 3FVape and am awaiting a response. Meanwhile, the price in my cart has increased a little. This is probably due to the change in BF deals, discounts, etc. My question is:

If 3FVape doesn't honor my original order and makes me order all over again or gives me trouble, should I take it up with PayPal? I've never had this happen with them or anyone for that matter. I suspect a glitch in their website. I used PayPal to place other orders with different vendors that same night with no issue.

Thanks TD. I have stopped using VC because I was told they only list sites that pay them.
I found what I was looking for here
GeekVape Nova Starter Kit 200W
West Coast Supply is a good site. I've dealt with them before and had fast shipping. I spoke with Vapecrawler admin and the kickbacks basically pay to keep the site up and running (server fees, etc.) At least that's what I'm told. No one runs a website for free; vape-Deals, Deal Vapes, et al. They all have to make money to run the show. Whatever it is, it's a win-win situation if Vapecrawler brings business to your company. But I wouldn't rely on it 100%.

Oh MAN they were some seriously beautiful things. I almost bought 60 dollars worth but was like saved by no paypal. My vape room is..... OMG. Because it's my office stuff TOO. I am going to have to store some trash in the garage for a while probably: like 3 big bags full and a box. Oy.

Everything is organized I have SO many coils. I just had to... sit,. I better go to Walmart soon but I just had to... Sit.

I am SO organized it is insane. I only need a few MECH mods for the apocalypse. Yea yeah yeah I know. They're still in my cart. CRAZY Prices.

Anna

I'm more or less done and SO organized. I guess we shall see how that lasts.. A while, probably,

I have so many new atomizers to try, LOL I need more mechs like a hole in the head.

I expect it’s a glitch. If PP completed their part 3Fvape should on their end. They definitely shouldn’t try to charge you more because a discount is gone. You paid when it was. If they don’t (which I really doubt) then you can just cancel it out with PP. my bet is it will not come to that.

Thanks Eskie. Right now I'm in need of level headed thinking. With this MA ban in effect and getting shot down by more and more vendors as I try to place orders, I'm starting to lose grip on my senses. I'm so angry I'm willing to go to jail just to stick my finger in Baker's face!

My NarCa just landed at JFK and made it through the customs line. Now if it gets to travel through 3 states to reach me, supposedly on Monday. I wish I could just go take a cab and get it at the curbside. Better today than during the busy Sunday Thanksgiving exodus, which will be complicated by all sorts of nasty weather here. All that stuff you guys in the Midwest had is coming here for a visit.

Oh, and I got my juice delivery on time. I think I went a little overboard on juice orders, I have so many different flavors now I can't decide which to vape first. I imagine it could have been worse if not for the most expensive turkey per pound I've ever bought for Thanksgiving. That put a crimp in my plans. First world problems.

the NarCa is at the top of my fave list. I rewicked a Venna today to try and topple it, so far they are even stevens ;)

Perfect distraction for me since my sister who’s been caring for me just left. She had to leave 2 days early because of the storm. I’m trying not to sob the ENTIRE day. So rewicking is a great idea!!

Her leaving means you are getting back on your own two feet (literally)

Make yourself a little goal and set a rough time on it. At 10 weeks post fracture, I was just starting to walk again - I aimed to be walking up some of my fave 3km steep hill, within a month. And I got halfway up it - no problem ;)

Even if it is just walking Hayley a certain distance - it will give you something to aim for.

DotMod is running a 50% off everything sale through Cyber Monday. No code needed.

At 50% off I could not resist and scooped up a gunmetal limited release DotBox 75w mod.

I love their limited edition purple

and the Kroma RDA I ordered is already in NZ and on the scenic route down to me

Okay, bathing, vape repair and trying that new flavor, rewarding myself with rest, then YOGA.

    Sigh.

I'm sure it will be fine. Also, I have SOLVED my shinyitis problem. Since I NEED nothing I will allocate myself a prepaid credit card which I load with a REASONABLE amount of money each month so if I really want something, I have to save.

It's gonna work. When I set myself these little puzzles so to speak it ALWAYS works.

Thanks Zazie... I'm just going into the process of stem cell harvesting now. Actually I wondered the same same thing...you would think that the harvest would occur before the chemo but I guess it doesn't matter. Yesterday I started a course of twice a day injections which draw my stem cells from my bone marrow into my blood which they will then extract next week in a machine a bit like dialysis. They will then be frozen and I can relax for Christmas :)

Thanks everyone for your thoughts :)
Huh, that's interesting--I always thought chemo decimated the stem cells, so they were harvested beforehand and then reintroduced into the system to repopulate. Maybe that's the old-fashioned way.

Whatever the case, I'm glad you'll be getting a bit of a break after next week so you can be all rested up for the final lap. Will you have to be hospitalized for a while after the transplant?

Good afternoon People of Shiny land !!!

I was hunting around for some decent mechs and found The Vape Factor clearing out authentic H.E. mechs for seriously bargain prices. I spoke with the owner earlier today and these are NOT clones.

I bought a Cartel Mods v1 SS, a SMPL Mod by Epic Design Studios, a Petri 18650 by Dot Mod and a 7/8's Mod by Fallout Mods. Plus I snagged a Van & Del Soul S RDA and an Odis cap for my NarDA.

The owner said in their area everyone is into pods. o_O He couldn't recall the last time someone bought a mech from them in-store. This is the same vendor I bought my Science of Vape (SoV) Switch mech from earlier this year.

They do have some left Mechanical Mods

My total was $150 and that is what I call bargain shopping!!! ;)

Wow good deals. Too bad it’s in the US.

Zazie, my MIL went though this process recently, and I believe your assessment is correct. They have to put the person receiving treatment into remission in order to collect the stem cells, and that remission is achieved via chemo. But chemo takes time for the person receiving treatment to heal, so for MIL there was a window wherein she was healing and then they harvested.

For her particular diagnosis (plasma cell leukemia, a NASTY one) after harvest she would then receive a major round of chemo, designed to wipe out everything in her marrow, and then the stem cells would be reintroduced into her body, where they hopefully would regrow, putting her into remission. She was slated to have two back-to-back SCTs.

Sadly, she had an unexpected resurgence of another cancer and it overcame her this week. But she was diagnosed late and had a lot of other problems in the meantime.

***i will not belabor this issue any more on this thread***

All the medical talk in the last pages makes me very grateful that my MS had the decency to present very classically so that diagnosis was simple and swift. I'm also grateful that said diagnosis arrived before all of the disease-modifying drugs came on the market so I never was never pushed onto that treadmill. And that, when the time came for me to apply for disability, I was so old (fifty at the time) and so undeniably MS'd that it was granted immediately.

Amusingly, several years after I went on disability, I had to see a primary care doctor to get a referral to an orthopedist for a bad shoulder. One test involved my grasping his hands and gripping as hard as I could. Afterward, he said to me, "Are you sure you have MS?" I wanted to punch him but forbore. Needed that referral, after all.

P.S. My sister, a former doctor, dislikes and distrusts the medical profession even more than I do.

I already like these Molicell 21700s 42As (?) better than the 30Ts. I can get them easily into my charger without getting shredded at the ends. Hope they work good too lol!! And of course on Mooches list from Liion Batteries.

great idea!!! I think I’ll copy your example. Where does one buy prepaid cards? Can you get them online? I’m still unable to drive which is very distressing to me. Only because if either Haley or Gracie get sick and need to get to the vets. I won’t let myself panic about it tonight. It’s already caused me gastritis.
