Bought a high end snowboard many years ago. Arbor for those who know a thing or 2 about snowboards. First run on it, launched off a mogul and landed on a rock – cracked the board beyond repair. Spent the remaining of the trip drowning my sorrows at the chalet bar. Totally my fault. Contacted Arbor to see if they offered any kind of crash replacement, some companies do. They said I was out of luck. Contacted my credit card company, they asked a few simple questions and gave me a full refund. I ended up buying a cheaper board and used the remaining to pay off my bar tab!
Whats funny - few years later I was in the same store helping a friend with some snowboard purchases. Another customer was buying an Arbor board and the store clerk proceeded to tell a story about some guy who broke his on the first run! I laughed and confessed it was me he was talking about.
