Latest shiny ... a new grinder so I can stay properly caffeinated whilst in pursuit of the next shiny ...
    View attachment 857943

(beats the pants off the mechanical grinder I was using ... even though I often powered it with a cordless drill ... so semi-mechanical).

Love it - I use my lil grinder every day. Now you can use your right arm for more important things, like vaping :D

Vape Mail was delayed until Monday how disappointing :( !

im frustrated :p ! Seriously though- I’ve been looking at single coil DL RTAs and all the decks pretty much look the same save for clamp or postless. They all have the honeycomb airflow some angled slightly different then another.

So what makes one stand out more than another? I like the 22mm bottom airflow but can get great flavor from 24 mm top airflow too.

Love the airflow on original Zeus but found the Intake too restricted. I like bubble glass options more than straight glass thanks.

so unless you can afford to buy and try them all- how do you narrow it down. Just reviews? Or is there something you look for in a build that makes them different from other RTAs.

If I loved a particular RDA will the RTA version REALLY be similar. Ex I enjoy the Dead Rabbit rda. Will the RTA version vape the same just with the addition of a tank o_O ?

I’m actually just musing out loud because after buying what feels like hundreds of RDAs I feel I’m lacking in the RTA department. Previously (before broken hip) I was mostly dripping but there is something to be said about tanks too I now realize.

So before the End of Days  I’d like to get another tank or two. And basically I’m tired of reading and watching reviews

Now I gave myself a headache.

    HELLZBELLZ !!!!!!

    No one said NO pictures.
We're two only children that no longer have living parents and we didn't have children ourselves... Gets very lonely. Whenever we can we go on a cruise for christmas season...

At least there’s two of you. I’ve spent Christmas alone for over 10 years. And if it hadn’t been for a broken hip Thanksgiving this year would’ve been the same. A cruise sounds like a wonderful idea!!

Can you vape on a cruise????? That would probably be the only reason I’d buy one of those AOIs pods things.

@Fidola13 My comment may not help you because I have very, very limited experience with modern RTAs and had stockpiled Griffins from 2016 for the first round of Deeming stock ups.

But I have been over the moon with the Wotofo Serpent Elevate top airflow, and Wotofo ships quickly. I bought three. One for daily use and two for the stash. It was recommended to me in the Stock Up thread and I have not regretted it. Super easy build, great flavor, no leaking.

For me they come to around $27 after shipping and tax.

Sourcemore responded re my shorted Luna (after Asmodus said I had to contact them)
To start, I told them I don't have the means to take pics...
I have to send photo of S/N
I have to send a photo of the Security Code
I have to send a video of it not working.
...aside from the fact they want me to put a battery in a shorted mod.

    well then...

    15% is BYEBYESUN or MOTHER15

and they have the Pumper 18 cheap
I have looked at the Pumper but I don’t know enough about it to know how it would be superior to the Luna for the money. (If it’s a shinyitis thing, I totally get that, lol.) Plus - do those bottles last?

im open to “older” models as well. Some of my favorite rda’s originals came out 2-3 or more years ago so doesn’t need to be brandy new.

Wotofo RDAs have been winners for me for the most part. Good quality for a good price in my experience.

The Serpent is one that keeps popping up during my searches. Is there anything that sets it apart such as airflow?

Not having much to compare it to, I can’t answer you on that last question. The reason why I jumped on my first one was the gentleman member here said that leaking was a non-issue. He was right. My builds hover around .3 and I vape it between 40-44 watts with the airflow all the way open, and I can take nice hearty draws back to back without fear of a dry hit. Grimm Green called the hits “comfortably moist,” and while a hilarious and admittedly gross turn of phrase, is dead on the money, lol.

Reviews are for muggles ... just buy based on looks or slick advertising copy like the rest of us and make up responsible sounding decision making processes later :D

I'm pretty sure it was @Eskie that had a auto firing problem with his Luna from Sourcemore, they were asking him to do similar things for them but he said no. He will be able to fill you in a bit more.
    Good Luck:wub:

Admittedly that’s what I usually do. I was just hoping to speed up the process and save some money.

@Eskie went through the same thing with a Luna at Sourcemore. He got a replacement sent out though, without the video yadda yadda yadda

I would copy Sourcemore's response and send it to Asmodus. Tell Asmodus that is unacceptable customer service from SM (it is). I know from talking with Asmodus that they do Luna repairs. I would be surprised if they didn't have you just send it in for repair.

SM wanted @Eskie to do the same with his Luna.

I had a new Aegis Solo with a wonky display a little while back that Ejuices wanted video. I told them I don't do videos. She said "oh {followed by a very long pause} ok then we'll send you a new one". They didn't want the bad one back. It has a single row missing on the display but other than that it works.
