There's a new study about chrome in wires. Please, stick to SS.
I love the vape that Ni80 gives - faster ramp up so you can get away with lower wattages on the same resistance coil as SS. I'm interested in this study though Susaz. Do you have a link?

Has anyone seen this new study on vape particulates?
Besides I'm an engineer. I can tell, chrome is not good for you. I know the problems, i vape too... but try to stick to SS.

Looks like UD improved things on the Goblin Mini V3 over the V2. I tried so hard to love the V2 but between the dry hits, random leaking and constant condensation I ended up piffing it to another member. It had great flavor but the annoying quirks got the best of it for me.

My old V2 setup. ;) (I had the 4ml extensions as well and those are a must have IMHO)

I've still got a couple of Goblin Mini V1s. So many hassles with bottom fill via a screw etc but there's something about it I love. The look and the quirky wicking and the great flavour

Thanks @Susaz. I couldn't find reference to Chromium or Ni80 (Nickel 80%, Chromium 20%) in the study you linked.
Several metals found in coils do leech into eliquid and can be vaped. Since I'm so allergic I stick to SS but thanks to the metallurgy part it's often wise. A1 needs more testing, but Ni80 should be avoided as a general rule. Look for chrome in ni80. There's an extensive article in wikipedia that is quite accurate.

But there is chromium present in Stainless Steel as well, 16% to 18% for SS316L. That +/- 4% is not going to make any difference.

Kanthal = 20% Chromium
Ni80 = 20% Chromium

Titanium and Nickel alloys will also have Chromium present. These are usually >90% pure but as everyone knows, can only be used in Temp Control

Good morning shiners! I might get a wayward package of juice that went to the wrong post office on Friday. It seems like it's circling the same distribution centers needed to get here but I'm not holding my breath.

Built out the NarCa yesterday for the first time. Nice atty. I wouldn't put it at the top of my favorites, but it handles itself well. Seems to me to be a bit unbalanced in airflow to chamber size. But, like everything, that's subjective. I just feel I have several other single coil attys that perform better. Haven't tried my gas mods one yet, so maybe I'll get to that one today.

They always looked too bulky to me
hex after.jpg hex wblitzen.jpg they are no more bulky than the Nova by Geekvape

I have 3, two are the 2.0 and I love them. All you can get new are the 3.0 and I do not even like mine. I bought it because it seemed to be the last chance to get "the Anarchist" and I had to have it. Anytime I try to use it I am disappointed. It has to be built just so to be any good and I can never remember this. I am clueless as to the difference in the 2.0 and the 3.0 but there is one.

I'm not sure how that particular study corresponds to your statement I'm not denying it I'm just wondering how you got that connection maybe I missed the tech speak that was involved. What I read was that the levels of particulates are much lower than some standard put in place by WHO. Could you explain how that study applies to your statement? I've never used nichrome but I was considering purchasing some to use at well below the 300 degrees Celsius that they tested at I usually Vape around 250f. Just so you know I'm not contradicting your knowledge or the study I just don't understand the connection

So a little over a month ago I had my first sigelei mod go to crap w/i 30days and now it's replacement (different model) has also gone to crap at 31days. This was supposed to be my mod that takes different size battery so now I'm in the market again for an inexpensive mod that takes 21700s but preferably with an adapter will also take 18 650s.
Regulated
A single battery
I'm really fond of the ones that have the battery cap on the top that extend it but that's just sprinkles on top of the cupcake. Something that ships from the United States would be nice just because I'm already waiting on Chinese orders that don't seem to be moving and I need to figure out whether I'm going to try to warranty this product that went faulty on day 31 or if I'm going to just replace it and forget about it.
I'd like to keep it around the same price as what I bought the other mod for which was $30. I know that at that price point you're probably not going to get amazing quality but I do still think that you should get more than 31 days use and I would have been happy had I got 6 months

Thanks so much.. also I feel like I'm always asking questions and I kind of apologize for that but where am I going to get a better recommendation than in the shiny thread LOL
