It’s sad we’re going to be seeing more and more of this in the next six months. People who put so much time and effort into building a business only to be forced out for what are essentially political reasons.
If Kennedy goes under I wonder if they'll be selling CC switch Vindicators for $20? How about Signature Tips? I could use a couple more SQs.

"My name is Charlie and I have a shinyitus problem" :D

Oh by the way we're on your side and we promise to make you much worse :D:lol::pervy:
I don't really have a problem. I look around a lot and buy very little. I have 10 mods (BB included) as of now.

I've decided to follow in the Slothman's steps. I won't be frequenting this thread much anymore. I have scaled down my buying radically, as I have everything I need for my style of vaping. To each and everyone here, I thank you dearly for all the love, support and most of all, the mountain of information I gathered from you. I love you all and wish you the Merriest of Christmasses, and a very Prosperous 2020
@stols001
I want to apologise for being rude to you earlier. It all basically turned sour and I didn't get to say what I actually wanted. I want to add a few things that I hope can be of interest to you. I don't in any way intend to try and sway or influence you. Firstly though, I want to mention again (as I have before).... plz forgive my linguistical skills as i'm not good at expressing myself in English. You have to read between the lines some). All I want to do is tell you what happened to us and how I see things. Hopefully it can be of some benefit to you. If not...its all good.
My daughter was also diagnosed with bipolar..as well as a list of other disorders. She was heavily psychotic and in and out of two different psychiatric hospitals. The psychiatrists had her on this, that and the other (lithium being one) for about a year. I couldn't believe when this woman Naturopath said to the wife to bring her in...she gets very good results with mental illnesses she said. I remember, at the time I said to the wife...how the hell can she even pretend that she can help her. I mean its a mental illness, and she was properly out of it. She was stark crazy at certain stages, milder at others. During that period she was never at the same reality we were. The ambulance came to fetch her one time, she started undressing as she thought they wanted to have sex with her. Ah there was soooo many other frightening episodes....She was literally out of it... she was kept in isolation under guard on multiple occasions. The wife spent soooo many nights sleeping with her (for weeks on end) as that can be a dangerous place. They used to get her to a manageable (almost zombie) state and then release her. Not long and she's back in again....and so it carried on and on.
She (the daughter) also was on a good diet...or so she thought (she after all has degrees in Nutrition and Psychology and led a very healthy life).
Anyway... This woman analized her body with many tests, and found what her body/mind was sensitive/allergic to. What was lacking and what was in over supply.... There was actually more to it...I just lay it out in layman's terms as I understood it.
Point is, over a period of about 6mnths, she brought her back to a normal state....only by special diet (she was only allowed to eat certain things, and non of others for 3 months) and the correct supplements to correct her vitamin/mineral levels to stabilize her brain chemical make up and rid her brain of the inflammation.
We instinctively always think medicine first, but that's the last thing she needed. What she needed was something to correct the wrong...not something to confuse the symptoms. As you probably know, some brains are much more sensitive to environmental toxins than others...Again, layman's terms...
She has a normal life now without any chemical medications. She has taken time out now to work on her self esteem and confidence as that took a huge knock. As for medicines...nothing chemical... only an array of supplements to keep her mind/body in optimal function.
If we did not persue this new avenue, she would still have been in and out of those places....and definitely would've deteriorated going forward as the brain is damaged every time it has an episode....and she had many. That's why she went back to vollenteer in the wards she was in...to show and spread the word that there is a cure for most mental illnesses. What she/us learnt is mental illness isn't something that "happens" to some people. There's a reason the brain is under stress and that can be corrected. The psychiatrists don't get that and still are gobsmacked, as its radically the opposite way they were trained....medical doctors to...!!! All they know is for a certain condition there is an array of medicine...and so they alternate between only that.
Only one psychiatrist was hugely interested and she spent hours "educating/sharing" with him.
I'm not saying this woman and what she does, is the Alfa and the Omega. Some things she can't help with. All i'm saying is there is other options that can have good/better results. She works alongside doctors (and vets) but they don't like that much, as they are looked at as "alternative". What i've found is our Western way of medicine is actually the alternative way....!
She studied in the US, so she might even put you on to someone similar near you. There's many of them lately as this way of medicine is taking off (Naturopathy that specializes in Functional medicines).

Like I said previously they don't treat symptoms, they seek the root cause of the problem and address that. I remember in one of my consultations with her, she said she rids a child from ADHD in about a week. She also said there's many many "illnesses" that is brought on by the body not being in nutritional balance and no medication is actually needed....arthritis and auto immune I remember, but she named a long list...
Anyway that's about that from me. Make of it what you will, I just had to get it out of me, as this was something radically different for us to and I try and tell as many people I can. We're in our 60s and always led the typical Western way of medicine life we all are used to....I mean that's what we always had and are used to. I'm not bashing it. There is definitely a place for it, but sometimes there's other options that works better. The wife being an ex pharmacist worked alongside doctors for almost 40years, so it was even more daunting for her stepping off the "traditional" path and try something "unconventional" like this. Come to think of it, it was out of shear desperation as all our individual ailments and illnesses weren't being fixed by our doctors...they merely managed our symptoms.
We all have since changed from our long time GPs and went with other ones that practice medicine hollisticly. That in itself was a mission as there are VERY few of them.
Same for the wife. She was riddled with arthritis. Couldn't get us a flight of stairs. This woman got her back to a state now that she has absolutely no inflammation, no pains in the joints and complete mobility. No sign of arthritis anymore. NO medications used. She also just maintains her body through diet and supplements.
Well that's me. Also... My apologies to all the people here for derailing this thread again.
Happy holidays everyone . I'm off on my break tomorrow.
We'll see you around. Peace and happy holidays to you! May you vape safely and cheaply for as long as you wish.

Figures.....
Woke this morning to alerts from my bank...

Went and looked, yep my money is gone.

Seems alot of online shopping was done while i slept.
Most failed except a few from a place called figs? Looks to be a furniture store in Europe.

Really?? They block all the purchases except the ones from another country!!!

Thankfully Christmas shopping is basically done, if not it is now.:-x

Partly my fault as i got lazy and started using my debit instead of credit card. It was easier but guess ill go back to buying on my cc and paying the cc with my bank.:(

The fraud department doesnt open for about another hour, and last time it took like 2 weeks to return the money. Next check is after Christmas so keep your fingers crossed for me.:(

So...... enjoy your shiny purchases. Im gonna go to work and cuss some fraud people. Oh and block my card and order a replacement.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
I HATE THAT. Happened to me last year, not all but quite a lot was whitdrawn from several ATMs. We spent Christmas in Uruguay with what I had, to top it off I had my new truck. It eventually sorts out but it's a bummer. Don't fret but be relentless...

Security should be 27/7 – certain spending characteristics should trigger an alert where security would put a freeze on the account until verified. Reporting or calling a fraud help desk is just speaking with a CSR – for banks, these usually operate within normal business hours. CC these could be 24/7

@Hightech Redneck – That sucks. Hopefully you have credit or another means of finances to get you by. The investigation and refund can take some time. If you do not have other finances to rely on, speak with your bank, they may be able to assist. Tis the season and customer services desks maybe extremely busy which could mean long wait times speaking with an agent. Be patient and stay on the line. Delaying the fraud report could mean you are liable for partial of the funds. Good luck
Not long ago Mastercard would call me up and ask "Is that you?" It was far better. I no longer have that card but we have a trade limit for the day so the card doesn't get thrashed.

Good thing we’re not FB friends then... I’m a sucker for rescues. The only thing saving me is Monk is too fragile for a younger dog in the house, and Catdog hates other cats. After all she’s been through (we think she’s btwn 9-11 years), she deserves a peaceful, as she wants it rest of her life. Now, if someone came up with a “vape rescue”, I’d be all over it.... neglected squonk or unbuilt rta stuffed in a closet? Absolutely, I’ll give it a loving home

I think I’m down to just bits and bobs to order. Nothing recently has lit a shiny fire in my heart. Waiting on extra glass to get in stock at FT, and the Boost’s rba pod to hit the US. (Probably wait till January in hopes the $$ will drop once the new wears off.).

Interesting note.... A new Innokin mod (kroma r, external 18650) was announced on FB last night by Demi. And, it’s NOT being released in the US.

I saw that new Innokin Kroma-R. Since Innokin gear got me through my first 6 months smoke-free, they are one of my favourite brands. The only problem with Innokin's latest mod releases has been a lack of removable single battery mods - everything til now was internal. External 18650, it also looks extremely comfy to hold, and has a fire bar. I use my Kroma every day as my build mod, but this new model may be a tad too awesome for that duty ;)

We are going to be in for a pretty warm one this summer, 42 C is forecast for today:eek:

I get grumpy when it's over 25 C, so me in 42 C would not be a pretty sight ;)

But seriously, you and @Pigs and @Possum64 and @Jebbn all keep safe and COOL

Ha Ha i'm sitting here with a huge lump in the throat and you wonderful people are the cause of it :firefox:
Nah its not about Anna...hell i'm from Africa. We're psychologically tough as nails. :thumb:
I just thought I have everything (but the right juices. I do have one though) I need as far as vape hardware is concerned, and i've been buying stuff I don't need, and haven't been using really.
Last night i'm lying in bed thinking what my morning ritual will be like now. I usually get up, make myself a beautiful cup of home brewed coffee and spend about a half hour at my vape station catching up on this thread...vaping and feeling the love you lot spread. Yeah you're a special lot that's for sure. Yeah who was I bluffing really :( I need to be stronger and wiser about my vape spending. Losing out on the morning love sessions won't be good for my soul :D
I think back so often....I've been part of bonsai forums for many years. Now lately i've walked away from all of them because of all the constant bickering and competition driven aggression.
On this forum, and especially this thread I found exactly the opposite. I'm so glad and proud to be part of this community.
Well as I said, i'm packing and off on holiday soon. I wish you all love, happiness and prosperity for your holidays and beyond
Ah and thank you all for the support

I'm glad you came to your senses

Think of this thread as your morning cartoons... er I mean newspaper. Have an awesome holiday with your family, and look after yourself

Yeah I was actually really surprised that it didn't at least have the hns included. I think for the original price point they were asking way too much considering how limited it really is but I guess because it was somewhat innovative in the way that it works as far as the squonk goes they figured they could do that. It looks at least from what I've seen like it's well worth $40 but I guess we'll see :) it sure is pretty

I giggled reading your last few posts about the Revenant, as I saw so much of myself in them ;)

I live in Argentina, the shakiest economy in the world. Barely 8 months after I started vaping my partner had a stroke and was left in a bed. I had the worst time in the world devoting most of my savings and a lot of my personal net worth to keep him in the rehab clinic where he was taken care of. He passed away Sept 2014. 6 months before my mother in law (his mother) said "walk away, you need someone to take care of you. I or anybody in the family will hold it against you. Go, you need and deserve somebody in your life".I was completely in the broke but started vaping again and this thread didn't exist otherwise it would have been VERY nice. Nowadays the economy is at it again. I rebuilt my vaping supply and it's tiny and too ugly but it works. Some of us are on the cheap and I'm not ashamed but sometimes I buy somehting and I'm in need of the cash and sell it. That's the way of the economy I live in. Try not lusting too much.

I was not working at the time my husband got sick, he was the sole breadwinner. He had great insurance, but even that would not pay for a nursing home. We called Hospice - they took care of his mother in her last days. But while they say no charge if you can’t afford it, they wanted to tap the escrow in my house, that we’d almost paid off for 25 years. Money that I would have to repay.

After he died, the bills kept coming. Cancer. Insanely expensive even with insurance. I had no income for two years while his bills kept coming in. I paid with the life insurance, and survived selling stuff on eBay. I had the house appraised and contacted a real estate agent, thinking I could sell it, maybe buy a small trailer rather than have it reposed.

I was down to my last couple hundred dollars with the property tax and house insurance bills sitting on my desk when I finally got word I would be getting his retirement. Whew.

That’s not the first time I’ve ever been in hardship, but it was far worse given the circumstances.

There’s no shame in not having tons of money and doing the best we can. I know that I’m very fortunate to have come out of this without losing house and home on top of losing my husband.

Anyway, I’m sorry for all that you went through. So many tough decisions.

Those are pretty sharp. Since the Kroma-A was my first mod, I may be contractually obligated to get one of these, too.

    morning all.
glad you'll still be around @Fredman1
most people at my place of work will be overtly cheery as they'll be finishing for the holidays today. I'm not and won't be. if all goes to plan.
while everyone will be panic buying turkey, bread and milk i will be concentrating on liquids. only 24% of which will be for vaping.
notice that the evdilo only has tcr mode and wattage. couple of new and married molicel 21700s are eagerly waiting to provide power delivery. going to need some purple 810 tips.
FT discount code still hasn't made an appearance at time of hitting phone with finger. if their site goes down today, frequently, that'll be as a result of me doing the checking thing.

Well, good morning shinies.....and may it be the shiniest kind of morning for everyone

This boxxer V2 is superb. It's the only tank that allows you to get a proper direct lung hit from the BB and it's perfect. So nice to finally get that type of draw on my favourite vaping device. It's like having an RDA on the BB. If you were thinking of getting a BB and didn't because of the lack of a loose ish DL hit then your wait is over....now you can go for it :D

Not trying to encourage anyone to spend money, of course

Have a great day lovely people's

One of the best things I did in the last years was sell the big house. With the new administration 4 years ago utilities were dollarized and went up 1700%. I put it up for sale and meanwhile I rebuilt my mother in law's home in the outskirts. At first it was tough letting go 50 years living in that house (it was my parents, I grew up there) but nowadays I feel great. Not only I have a little more funds to fool around with, it's been a welcome change of scenery. :)
