Yes, I have good friends that think I was crazy to pack up and sell in Georgia to go home to California, stay a year and half and then come back to Georgia.
Really it was so liberating. I was so anchored down in a home I no longer loved, in an area I did not like, it was so time for a change. That house was paid off and I checked with my daughter first, as it was the home of her youth. She did not want it and she could have had it as she had trust money too. I might never had gotten out of that home, (a big home, with inground pool and too much land that I maintained on my own) had I not done this. It felt like I was anchored to that house. So much stuff, in every nook and cranny. I purged and purged.

That took a great deal of courage. I admire you for it. I was glad that I didn’t have to sell this place back then, but I’m ready to do it now. I just need to figure out where I want to be. I hate to move away from all my family, but I’m not sure I want to be in any of the places they live. I may just stay local.

We don't have that problem but yet, we love Buenos Aires in spite of everything. Husband's mother was a spaniard, I'm italian and not long ago somebody with the current administration needed a commercial attache in Spain/CE. So we're waiting for the order to leave but hasn't arrived yet. I'm looking forward to it, changing scenery and seeing my cousins will be fun. 6 years since I was last in Europe...

My shinyitis was doing fine, three carts sitting and waiting for discounts to show up. The Christmas ham was already in the fridge and a good deal too at Aldi.

My wife then suggested we have prime rib for our small family get together. I closed the carts and let beef shinyitis take hold at GFS. Probably a good thing but the ham might need to find a place in the freezer just after I reorganized it for the last two liters of nic. Decanting will have to wait for the holidays to end, so no need to order the bottles just yet. One cart less for now.

I'll wait a day or two to open up those other carts...

It seems almost like The Vape gods have blessed me in what I consider to be the slowest time of year to get companies to do anything both Asmodus and get this Breazy sent my order out w/I 24 hours. Breazy sent my order out two hours after I ordered it or at least they sent the information to The Postal Service and got me a tracking number. I've had good experiences with Breazy and I find them to be always very reasonable but this is exemplary.

And then something really cool happened last night when I was looking at YouTube reviews of the delta and I was kind of sort of having buyer's regret because I realized that the gasket on the juice holder is likely to go bad before a regular mods lifetime ends. I mentioned this in the comments on the YouTube video. The reviewer wasn't real thrilled about the device and next thing I know he left a comment for me and asked me if I was in the United States and said he would send me the one that he had for review since he would never use it. When I get it I'll have to ask if it's okay to brag about him by name or channel name because I mean that's just really cool.

I love The Vape community I've gotten so much assistance not just stuff but information and people's time and effort. It blows me away.

This is the nicest Christmas story I've heard so far this year.

I sold the family home in L.A. (Burbank) last year, also the home I grew up in and the only home I ever knew my mother to live in. I bought the share I did not inherit from the trust and kept it for awhile. Had all carpets pulled up and the original hardwoods revealed and redone. Worked in the yard a lot. The yard of my youth. All the neighbors were the same that I grew up with but of course the next generation, same as me. It was all bittersweet and I had a lot of free solitary time to come to terms with things. A very difficult relationship with the beautiful person I called MOM. I cried a lot that year. Cried a lot and revisited with the young girl of my youth. Had I not done this time I am not sure I thought of her the way I do now. In the end it did make sense for me to keep the home and be away from my daughter and grandkids. My daughter could not afford to live in Burbank. I was property rich but cash poor. I sold it and got my money and my inheritance out of it plus made 50K (once I subtracted money spent on it)
Not a bad haul to live back home for awhile.
I am thankful I had the opportunity.

Agree 100%. The PIF (pay it forward) mentality has been completely embraced by the vaping community, and it is fantastic. Whether it is via equipment donation or just giving advice to someone, it all makes a difference

Vaping is probably the only hobby I personally have been a part of wherein most are so happy to be involved they want everyone else to share in their joy - even if it means getting the other person in via their own personal expense. It’s a lovely phenomenon.

I am mad at FT. I ordered on Nov 30th and just checked and I am still in "pre-shipment" mode
I get this message:
"Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece."

UGGH. this is after I took everything off that was not in stock and had it refunded.

That’s the only info USPS will display but you can see all the movement within China with their app. It’s how I know mine made it to the airport and will sit there until it’s flown out, but I know where it is. Here’s an idea of what it gives. If you keep scrolling there’s even more tracking information on the package.

Ordered all the ingredients needed for Ange's custard recipe yesterday. That's about as close to a shiny purchase as I get at the moment with all the Xmas expenses and the annual summer work slow down.
Nice to live vicariously through you guys and your new shinies though. Biggest on the list for me is definitely a Boxxer V2. I tried so hard to get the V1 to a functioning state but like everyone else that bought one I eventually gave up. I'd love to see a photo of the deck of the V2 with a build in it @charlie1465 !

I have three FT packages that have been hanging out at the Shenzen airport since the 1st. All our packages should get together and have a party. In other news, my minifits from Efun finally cleared customs today. I've been waiting anxiously for that to happen. Hopefully I'll get them next week.

Got something from Amazon addressed to me with my address. Open it up and it's a 'Zemalia Male Maturbator' and a 5 pack of women's panties. Checked my spouse's Amazon account and she didn't order it either.

After spending some time with Amazon support, they asked me to validate the phone number. Some person with 86 country code phone number (China) had shipped me this.

I think it's the scam where they use stolen customer data to leave themselves verified purchase reviews on their Amazon page.

Could it be FT, 3F, or one of the Chinese vape company giveaways that had my information stolen? Not sure. But there was also an insert for an online sex toy store asking me to contact them if I have problems and letting me know I should go on their website to claim my free gift.

Weirdos man.
