Any decent restricted lung to direct BF RDAs out there on sale right now? I am sadly underprepared when it comes to bottom-feeding rdas. I have some but the majority of the ones that I have are after thoughts that came with mods and just kind of suck. I have too many squonks now to only own 3 okish rdas. I like to be able to have a little bit of cloud going on but not like clouds bro type stuff but what I really want is flavor. Free shipping is a super plus or at least reasonable shippin . I don't expect that I should have to pay $10 to ship something the size of two postage stamps lol

I love the Recurve, and the AsMODus RDAs, Bunker and .Blank, all single coils so a bit less cloudy than duals, I think. They can be dialed down to fairly restricted if you like, opened to pretty darn airy. But those are all getting hard to find. The AsMODus Barrage and wasp nano are still out there.

For dual coils all I’m using are unicorns and axials.

@DPLongo22 Heyo! Do you have the iAtty R? We were talking SbS and that would be a sweet addition;)

I do not, @muth , and I'm fairly certain I've stopped adding atties (I think ;) ).

But, as has been stated by many here, for many years, "We ARE Vapers!":cool::vapor:

It's nice to see that this thread is still moving at speeds approaching the creation of a sonic boom. :D:thumbs:

Single coils are pretty much all I have been using for a while now. I really like the Gas Mods attys; Nixon S, GR1, and my favorite, Nova. I am really loving the Unicorn Axial. It is a dual coil atty but works great with a single coil. I havent even tried it out with dual coils yet. I also really like the Advken Gorge RDA. It may be a bit cloudier than what you are looking for tho. A lot of people love the Recurve.

I would love to see a picture of how you single coil an axial, if you wouldn’t mind. I’m always thinking I should try it, but worried the coil will be too high.

I Built it the same as I built the DR. Put the coil in to where it rests on the posts, tighten, then pull the coil tight. It lines up nicely with the AF and the coil has quite a lot of room above it.
EDIT: Not the prettiest coil pic, that one has been used a lot.

Your post reminded me I have a Gas GR1 sitting in a box I totally forgot about to build to try it out. But it is all washed. That's bad, isn't it?

I liked the GR1 a lot but I got the 24mm/810 conversion. The 510 was too restrictive for me. Unfortunately my Nixon and GR1 are no longer with me. I really like the Nova. It is near the top of my heavy rotation.

The GR1 is a very good atty if built correctly. Keep that coil fairly low. I found that I was getting juice in my mouth on mine and haven't used it since but I know from others that it's the build that changes that :)

I got the Axial a few weeks back and I agree, great rda. I have duals in it right now but since you mentioned a single, I think I will try that later today!
I am planning on trying it out with duals. I am not a fan of running single coils in RDAs designed for dual but the Axial is better with single than some of my single coil RDAs.

Use the coil rod guide. It lines it up perfectly. I had a problem with oversquonking. User error on my part and low af that slopes downward didn't help

Yes these bubbles are for the original Tripod. They fit with a bit of a squeeze on the clone.

I'm glad it has a good TC. Its a requirement in a mod for me . That's exactly what makes the Luxotic Surface my daily driver. Its has a very good TC. That and the size makes the Hippovape a must have...
Thanks for bringing it up Ange.
I may have to take a chance then. The vendor has a long history of abysmal reviews on reddit, so I was iffy about giving them a shot. I think I’ll wait until the holiday sale madness has subsided to up my chances of a positive experience.
