Found one of my VAPEROXX mohawks and thought I would try it out in an Axial.

where's a bash-head-against-wall smiley when you need one?

that;s what i'm trying to do_ which? it might be too small ID or filthy crap no? i was gonna buy a multispec pack but the delicate flower threw it in my face saying and said it's crap
When I first got into building I just bought some basic round wire from TEMCo. They're one of the best out there. No Chinesium wire all USA made. Or go with where @TrollDragon gets his ... linked in your other thread. They're high quality wire too. Or AVS, which I also use and is high quality wire.

Here and they're pretty low cost too...
26g kanthal Kanthal A1 Wire 26 AWG RW0159 - 100 Ft 0.98 oz Series A-1 Resistance

26g 316L Stainless Steel Wire 26 AWG RW0559 - 100 FT 1.09 oz SS 316L Non-Resistance AWG

And just for you...

    no_ just graphic enough
for a second you trick me into going, ah that's nice, someone's read both and coming to the rescue then BANG! the whole search is for pre-coiled wire!
but perfect timing, as yes, i'm exploring @TrollDragon's site

before i ask about this pardon i gotta say__

what did i say about flaunting gold stuff!?
    that is PRETTY!

ehem back to point, and if i may quote myself_ shiners? thoughts?>>

@vaper1960 thanks. that is actually new info about the spaced vs contacts

i think these fancy German boys from @TrollDragon will do and even @Don29palms wouldn't kick them out of bed (not for 1Euro+ per coil for most). Just need confirmation from someone who's tried Serpent Elevate, if 3.5mm ID is fine_ that's all they have.

I;m eyeing these with familiar names. Objections to any based on build or gauge welcome

    Alien V2 3x (26awg) KAN A1 + (28awg) SS 316L
    Clapton Ø 0.50mm (24awg) SS316L + Ø 0.20mm (32awg) SS316L
    Fused Clapton 2 x Ø 0.40mm (26awg) KAN A1 + Ø 0.10mm (38awg) KAN A1
    Quad Twisted 4 x Ø 0.32mm (28awg) KAN A1

    the last is the cheapest.

    IT'S ALL HAPPENING!

I was thinking hot hair roller. What did you think I meant?

Oh, I think you know what I think you meant. LOL. Nope not falling for that one. I totally also thought you meant a hot hair roller but women can fake that too, it's called a "perm" and if you are me in the 80s, you do not get one. It was pretty dang dire. I had very, very straight hair and it turned into this horrific half perm snake kind of thing.

The hair lady APOLOGIZED. She took my money, then said, "I am very sorry I did my best." LOL

    True.

This silver unicorn mod is 24 mm which is nice my only single 18650 mech that fits all my rda without overhang. It just has a huge voltage drop and doesn’t hit hard so I hardly use it. Works well with mesh though. I could get a profile rda to put on it . That would look cool. The only mesh I have are my profile unity’s RTAs

There must be something not making a proper contact somewhere. That mod should hit hard.

I received my <clone> SQuape Seven (22mm single coil) about a week ago with the Hussar v2.
    IMG_1533cr.jpg

The dual AF goes from a pretty airy 2 x 4mm RDL/DL down to a separate 2 x 1mm airflow setting for a proper tight MTL. Like so in this pic from the SQuape site...
    base.jpg

Once you rotate the top cap over to the MTL setting the DL AF is completely closed off. The AF is angled downwards. It has excellent flavor and is easy to build on. Heat is dissipated by an additional PMMA black, or the included clear, top cap that you just press fit on top on the SS top cap. The deck has a black pin installed so the top cap will only move within the AF range. The top cap has two notches inside for the pin.

It has a two piece 510 pin with a tiny blind pin pre-installed in it. I almost lost mine, good thing Dog pointed it out on the floor before Cat got to it. Remove it and squonk away. I cannot tell if the clone deck is made of ematalised aluminium like the OG. 2Fdeal, in their description, says the deck uses non-conductive components to avoid short circuits. So it is likely YFTK used something similar. YFTK did a real good job with the Seven.

The Seven is very much like the Hussar v2 and BioChip RDA's with a smaller area between the posts for the coil. A 3mm ID clapton is as far as I would go. I have an AVS 26/30 316L 2.5mm ID clapton at 0.4 ohms installed. My coil is slightly raised above the deck notches so the AF is hitting the bottom third of my coil (sweet spot). SQuape recommends resistances in the 0.3 to 1.8 ohm range. Some YT-ers, and other reviewers, have built lower.

I've used it wide open, to a more restricted DL and on the MTL setting. Doesn't matter where I set the AF the Seven offers a great vape. The MTL setting is awesome if you like a tight MTL draw. It works fine on a squonker, no issues. Like the Hussar RDA's it is a very condensed flavorful vape. @AngeNZ the Seven airflow is like the KRMA, Hussar v1 or NarEA (likely CA too). You would like it. ;)

SQuape designed it to be a BF RDA but you can drip with it. You'll just be adding juice every couple pulls, depending.

I got mine from 2Fdeal. YFTK SQ Seven 22mm Style RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer w/BF Pin - Silver

Was that one of those paper tape sorta readers? With the perforated paper tape? IIRC yeah I remember but never used one. I did use a rebranded modified HP something for dedicated purpose that used a cassette tape for data upload and storage. Only time I remember seeing that in use. Good idea though but obviously linear. No way it could stand up to random access.

The 2540 was a card Reader/Punch. JCL, program code and data were manually punched to cards to be read into the mainframe. Was still using it in the early 80's. At the same time I remember the 4341 being upgraded to a whopping 8MB, at the time that was impressive.

Ooh that’s the copper or brass? I’m starting to want a copper one too now.

I’m gonna guess that one is brass. The copper one looked pink on the website but it looks cool the photo Daniel posted
That's copper. It looked pinkish when I got it. The more I don't clean it the darker brown it gets. Here is an old copper/brass mod I haven't cleaned for a long time.
