I've done this before too, you're not stupid Ricky just tired. Get some some sleep bud.Rewicked a couple rda’s before bed and half asleep i took a puff off my Ni90 0.1 ohm coil on my vindicator without the cap. Burnt the crap out of my lips ...

Jeez Louise...80!Agree 100%
I've been vaping 100% my own recipes for the past 9 months. I'd happily vape one mix, all day every day - so finding and loving 5 different ADVs has been a huge step for me.
What I love the most about DIY and creating mixes, is the creativity side, and the experimentation side. Plus you don't need 100s of concentrates to succeed at DIY. Out of my 80 flavours - only 25-30 are my essential staples.
Eskie that is so useful. Having it laid out in graphic form like that is gold. Saving to my desktop now. Thanks! For those getting into stacked series mechs, remember things are calculated differently.

This is a helpful guide to keep in mind when deciding on your build. Decks that allow you to build a series coil help in keeping the resistance in a decent range and hit like a steam machine. Of course a properly built single coil can also be a major heavy hitter as well. Just make sure your atty of choice has decent airflow so things don’t get too toasty.
Oh, those figures are based on the draw on a 20A battery. With a 30A battery you can build a bit lower, matching the battery to the amp draw expected. But still, in series even. 30A battery can get maxed out pretty easily.
Nic in pg base is much easier to work with. Easier to pull up into a syringe.Hey there I want to start getting stuff form the broke vaper to do DIY.
Could you tell me what I should get to start me off?freebase nic in VG base would probably be good. Then what else do I need? Just flavour and the PG then syringes etc?
All my newer nic is 100 pg based but I'm using my 4 year old 50/50 nic first.Nic in pg base is much easier to work with. Easier to pull up into a syringe.
This is a respost of mine from another site where somebody was asking about why anybody would want a stacked tube.
==========================
A stack gives you double the voltage (but the same amperage) as a single and allows you to send some serious power to your coils safely. Even though you still have the same available current as a single, the additional voltage lets you pull less of it for the same wattage.
So for instance I can say, put a .3 build on one and get roughly 190 or 200 watts while still only pulling 26 or 27 amps from the batteries.
Why would anybody want to do that? Well, if you enjoy a "warmer" vape, this is a great way to get one. You can also build higher of course and bring that heat down as you please.
My Vaporz Could XXX has a .3 build on it and with a pair of 2070C or 20S it is an absolute monster.
It's perfectly understandable why many folks wouldn't want that and it's certainly not the only thing I vape, but it is fantastic when looking to REALLY fill your lungs up.
I used to feel the same way. I only tried a mech because, with the bans coming, they ought to last with so little that can go wrong with them.
I started with a Luna, because it’s protected. But I still had to learn how to build for it, how to calculate, how to use it safely. If I did anything wrong, it would blink and alert me. I feel quite comfortable with them now, although there is still a lot I need to learn.
That’s what I love about the folks on this forum. They never make me feel like an idiot when I ask a question, no matter how pedestrian it might be. I probably don’t need a stack, I may never seriously use them, but I do want to know how to just the same.
I'm one who uses coilers, including the top part to spin the wire. I find them convenient.
I have a CM set, I believe v3. My stock coil is typically 2.5mm ID, though I'll do 2mm or 3 mm depending on the particular application.
I recently picked up some Kuro Koiler sets from ft. Each has a fixed post; I got them in 2, 2.5, and 3mm diameter, in different colors. To me they're even more convenient than the CM set, no futzing around swapping spindles.
Got some new shiny stuff today. Got a new Revenant at my local shop for $20.00, including the Samsung 40T. Also got a Uwell Evdilo for $50.00, including 2 Samsung 40T's. The Dead Rabbit SQ and the hand made keychain fob came from my friend @icepickmaker84. Thank you so much Nick!

My eyesight isn’t spectacular after dark (yes, I have the lamps on). Is there a off/bypass switch inside like the Pulse mech?
Going on 2 years with this one. I want another nitecore i4. Having 2 slots can be rough as forgetful as I am.

Yes Nola there is a safety on/off switch inside the Pulse mech.My eyesight isn’t spectacular after dark (yes, I have the lamps on). Is there a off/bypass switch inside like the Pulse mech?

My favourite new ADV juice is based on what I call "Ange's Custard" (a recipe you posted a while back in reply to a post of mine looking for good DIY custards). I tweaked it a bit and added a touch of raspberry (CAP). It's mild but yummy.
EDIT: The nic is 100mg/ml 50/50 PG/VG
