Generally a molicel p42 but if they are not available I'll use whatever is in the drawer.

I build coils always at 0.4 and above so that the battery life is ok.
I’m always above that. I put a 0.9 in for the first go. Battery life was a little meh, so I switched to a Samsung 30q (??) and it’s way better. Tomorrow I need to run the other one in the charger/tester and see if it’s aged. I know they have a 0.3ohm drop in coil for it, and I don’t usually go below 0.5/0.6... but that’s what I was basing my “safe” range on (yes, I know it has a manual I should probably read ;)). I was trying to figure out if my run time was limited by my battery health, or just how the mod is.

The molicel vhas decent battery life and the dots chip is definitely not a guzzler but as always it depends on how you vape....if you chain vape then it is going to shorten life. The Samsung 30q us a great battery so it should be better. My vaping's very sedate these days...good look luck NOLA :)

How wide is the top of the mod? I can probably find you a couple to try out so you can find what size & bore would suit you.

Very kind of you. I was trying to remember where I’d seen them pretty cheap recently. I know a couple of people posted about it. After all, tomorrow is payday, and I have two large jars of Jif. I’m ready to shop.

(I jest, I can afford food)

Oh, and a FT package came yesterday, just some spare Topside bottles. But stuff is shipping, so that’s cool. I don’t live that they have proprietary bottles, but I will say they are top notch bottles. Seem like they’ll last a good long time. And they clean up great. Some of my juice is impossible to get the flavor and smell out of silicone. All these require is a quick wash, and they’re good as new.

I agree - the topside bottles do feel well made. Interesting that some silicon squonk bottles retain smell/colour of some juices. I really hate that yellowed look. I wonder if anybody here has a good cleaning system? I just use warm water and dishwashing detergent but it doesn't always work 100 percent.

Trotters crossed. :w00t:
Yeah I've found 3f have always been a good company to deal with on the whole.

@stylemessiah I got an email from Vapoureyes today. You know about this?

Headed:

The Australian Senate has voted to ban the importation of nicotine into Australia.

Goes on to say :

...motion in the Australian Senate, which calls on the government to ban the importation of nicotine-containing e-liquids and vaping devices - this motion was supported by both major parties and passed accordingly.

It mentions a "motion" but doesn't talk about a bill being passed into law. More research needed.

I borrow tricks from cleaning the sealing rings from my instant pot, because nobody wants the taste of a spicy dish to permeate everything else they eat all week-

Soak in white vinegar, or put it in the freezer for a while, or sit it out in the sun, if possible.

Sunshine only seems to work if it’s directly on the offending surface. I don’t get enough of it to do that often. Vinegar is my go to.

Its true, a motion was moved to ban importing liquid nicotine into Australia, this happened on last Thursday, and took everyone by surprise

You may want to read this: https://www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...n-illegal-vaping-imports-20200227-p544wu.html

Its a hot topic thread on our home forum which is here:

Senate Motion Passes to Ban All Nicotine Imports into Aus

That thread is going to be one of your best places to keep abreast of things, i certainly wouldnt be taking my cues from bloody Vaporeyes...they'll probably whip people into a frenzy to sell what they can through their New Zealand nicotine outlet "Quick before its banned"

FYI ....Vapoureyes (a large online vape retailer in Australia for those outside the borders) doesnt have a lot of fans when it comes to this, as they went to a senate enquiry a while back, and basically suggested that only vape retailers in Australia should have access to liquid nicotine for mixing into flavours to sell, pointing out the "dangers" in letting DIY mixers (which is pretty much every vaper i know in Australia) mix their own juice.

Essentially calling nicotine dangerous (except if they were to sell it mixed into overpriced juice) and the government were already banging on about the "terrible danger" of liquid nicotine

So they dont have many fans amongst people i know and we avoid giving them a cent in sales. Theres additional reasons i dont give them a cent, but OT, and we're OT enough

Oh, heres their staff banging on at the senate inquiry a few years back about how liquid nicotine will kill you if handled incorrectly, a total own goal against vapers.

Sorry folks, for the OT, but we have our own issues at home :)

For the curious, heres the concise version of the state of liquid nicotine laws in Australia:

1) Its illegal to buy or sell liquid nicotine or ANY liquid containing liquid nicotine within Australia
2) Its legal to import enough for a 3 month personal supply, as long as you have a prescription from a doctor.

So we have all (apart from the 3 vapers with a script i know - they all work in a vape store and got the prescriptions to try and keep the state govt. happy) bought without issue, our liquid nicotine from overseas (NZ/USA/China) for years in any size we liked. Its been a loophole, which we now worry will close, completely

Hi Sara. You aren't the only one mixing up the fire button and squonk button. :) I do love this mod though, and am thinking of getting another one. We'll get used to it sooner or later. ;)

The biggest problem I see is getting another bottle. A replacement bottle should’ve been included. I emailed Revenant and asked if they had any available. I’ll let you know if the actually reply.
