Trotters crossed.

Yeah I've found 3f have always been a good company to deal with on the whole.
@stylemessiah I got an email from Vapoureyes today. You know about this?
Headed:
The Australian Senate has voted to ban the importation of nicotine into Australia.
Goes on to say :
...motion in the Australian Senate, which calls on the government to ban the importation of nicotine-containing e-liquids and vaping devices - this motion was supported by both major parties and passed accordingly.
It mentions a "motion" but doesn't talk about a bill being passed into law. More research needed.
Its true, a motion was moved to ban importing liquid nicotine into Australia, this happened on last Thursday, and took everyone by surprise

Its a hot topic thread on our home forum which is here:
Senate Motion Passes to Ban All Nicotine Imports into Aus
That thread is going to be one of your best places to keep abreast of things, i certainly wouldnt be taking my cues from bloody Vaporeyes...they'll probably whip people into a frenzy to sell what they can through their New Zealand nicotine outlet "Quick before its banned"
FYI ....Vapoureyes (a large online vape retailer in Australia for those outside the borders) doesnt have a lot of fans when it comes to this, as they went to a senate enquiry a while back, and basically suggested that only vape retailers in Australia should have access to liquid nicotine for mixing into flavours to sell, pointing out the "dangers" in letting DIY mixers (which is pretty much every vaper i know in Australia) mix their own juice.
Essentially calling nicotine dangerous (except if they were to sell it mixed into overpriced juice) and the government were already banging on about the "terrible danger" of liquid nicotine
So they dont have many fans amongst people i know and we avoid giving them a cent in sales. Theres additional reasons i dont give them a cent, but OT, and we're OT enough
Oh, heres their staff banging on at the senate inquiry a few years back about how liquid nicotine will kill you if handled incorrectly, a total own goal against vapers.
Sorry folks, for the OT, but we have our own issues at home
For the curious, heres the concise version of the state of liquid nicotine laws in Australia:
1) Its illegal to buy or sell liquid nicotine or ANY liquid containing liquid nicotine within Australia
2) Its legal to import enough for a 3 month personal supply, as long as you have a prescription from a doctor.
So we have all (apart from the 3 vapers with a script i know - they all work in a vape store and got the prescriptions to try and keep the state govt. happy) bought without issue, our liquid nicotine from overseas (NZ/USA/China) for years in any size we liked. Its been a loophole, which we now worry will close, completely
