My daughter is a nurse in a lockdown facility for dangerous mentally ill people. She just heard yesterday that they are sending all their patients away somewhere on Monday. The place is being converted into a pre-release unit for CV victims. People who have been discharged from ICU's and active treatment and just need to be taken care of until they are ready to go home.
Next week will be intensive training for infection control. At least they have been promised they will have protective gear, which they haven't had for several weeks.
She would love to be sent home.
Meanwhile granddaughter is stuck in Colorado. She worked in a hotel and was laid off. Her boyfriend worked in a restaurant and was laid off too. No money coming in and their rent is due. Boyfriend was in the process of applying to join the coastguard. That's a long complicated process which involves travelling and it has been put on hold. Their gov payout will take a while because they don't have tax records. Unemployment pay will come eventually. I'm going to be paying their bills for a while.

Really sorry to hear j. There's going to be a lot more of this if our governments don't get on top of this thing and quick....I really worry for the economy round the world....

I am starting to understand why the dog and cats run outside when the door is open. I am going OUT to try to start my weedeater. depending on how that goes I will also vacuum and hose down my back patio

I was just reading this morning- if I find the article, I’ll link it if possible- that we won’t have to do anything to get the stimulus check, as long as you’ve filed taxes for either ‘18 or ‘19. You don’t have to have records or send anything in, the IRS has all that. But it will take a while to see that money, weeks, maybe months.
My dil, my daughter, and her BF are all laid off but have applied for unemployment, haven’t gotten any money yet. I’m going to ask them what’s the easiest way for me to send them money. You’d think the kids would be easy to send money to electronically, but mine are not always as tech as I am. My daughter wanted to FaceTime me and couldn’t figure it out lol.

rebuilt the axial. what a wee cracker it is. using the 3 hole air flow with a framed staple i slightly clumsily wound. used enough rayon on the tails but next time will leave a longer length.

Picked up my mail, my Dot is still in Detroit, but I finally got that vape cig a order. Some cute little drip tips for the dots. Also sent me a Times Vape Diesel rta which I’d never even heard of instead of the Ardent I ordered. Emailed them, we’ll see how they want to handle that.

meanwhile for some reason topside went the other direction in germany, donno why, maybe distribution or customs in this state is closed .. but it went to bavaria of all places_ that's the messiest place now/ i almost didn't leave today to wait for it was sure it's today.
