I just agreed to pay a guy $40 a week too. Mow, weed eat and edge. I will only have it done every other week because I am a tight wad

I thought about that - and maybe will do every other week later in the year, when the grass slows down. But I would have to mow his off weeks. And my mower needs to be serviced. That’s another thing I’ll need to figure out, where to bring it, and how to get it there. If there was a shop in town, I’d just ride it over lol.

You’re not going to believe this. About 20 to 30 people from my neighborhood are having a big social gathering/cookout in the culdesac across from my house. I want to go out and yell at them, but my wife won’t let me. I am just at a loss for words.

People are such idiots. The better we distance, the sooner this ends.

it is good for your grass to be a little long. retains water. If you get it cut every other week religiously it still looks manicured

Grass like any other plant uses the sun to make food for the roots. The shorter it is the less food it can produce. The longer it is, the healthier.
I don't use any fertilizer anywhere. For the lawns, I leave the cut grass on. Within a day the birds spreads and levels it and it becomes a natural fertilizer.

Good morning shinies

Looks like it's next week for any more deliveries. I'm kind of surprised that the post office went on a short week here. To me it's one of the most important essential services as it's only through the post we can get certain things to cheer us up during the lockdown :)

You hear on the local news that the bloody backpackers still havent gotten the message (caught partying again overnight), so now the government is telling them in no uncertain terms to get the hell out of Australia

Begone carriers of pestlience!, and top tip, dont come back, good riddance. Primary food producers should be employing out of work Aussies to pick fruit etc, and paying them a living wage, instead of paying bloody backpackers a pittance and letting them, cheat their visas and overstay...wouldnt have so many here if it were for underpaying primary producers....

In other news, the lockdown continues, hasnt altered my life one bit being a socially anxious aspie, im still full of win

I plan on getting out for a good long power walk tomorrow, may as well exercise while theres not so many humans out on the streets and around the parks near me

And watching FastTech's order page and online tracking is starting to get old, because nothings going anywhere, one package sent off for freight 5 days ago hasnt even been scanned in yet at Singapore Post...

Still 3 days away for seeing if my Tripod will get its 4th round of "restocking"

If China isnt careful we in the west might actually start manufacturing stuffs again.....and paying a living wage to people....

@Daniel Forsyth

For whatever reason you've chosen to feel aggrieved by my posts this last week (and i sent a polite PM asking why you gave a red X like 5 days ago, trying to be neighbourly and trying to head exactly this kind of thing off), either actually provide a reason and use your big boy words, or please add me to ignore like a grown up would, rather than to be passive aggressive and cowardly in handing out a red X's like a child.

I dont know what your deal is and im not taking on other peoples issues right now, ive already had one nasty piece of work to deal with this week. Dont be on my radar as the next one.

Please and thank you

two parliament members were arrested in amman for breaking the no car travelling curfew! so @Rob B. cheerup, i did :)

    morning shinies:vapor:
    forcekicks;)

@Pigs porkie i putses the bottleses onsa sillses__ wavey wave

I've got no idea why unregulateds appeal

I swore 6 months ago I was only ever going to use regulated squonk mods, for precisely your reason. But the lure of a $35 stabwood Luna was too much to resist. And what was worse, I began to like the changing power thing. So I got some more unregulateds, and a mech or two. And now I'd be perfectly happy with no regulated mods at all

My advice? don't try one :D

    and if you do....

I build for 3.8v. A battery will drop from 4.2v to 4v pretty quickly. Then a bit slower down to 3.8v. It sits around there for a while, then slowly trickles down to 3.6. I usually pull it at 3.5 or 3.6v.

All this means for my 0.6ohm build is that the first few puffs are really rowdy 29watts (4.2v), then just rowdy for a bit 26watts (4v), until it's perfect 24watts (3.8v)

huh_ that's not as much variation as i'd thought. that's a much more tangible glimpse of the woyld_ always illuminatoress: grazi mille!

    ...

i'm wondering if there's like a flavour cloner that takes requests:glug:

Good morning shiners! Another week down. My daughter is finally perking up, but she's still left tired and sleeping a lot. I'm debating whether to watch all of The Sopranos again. Even binging it I could be busy for days.
That's good news and hopefully that applies to her boyfriend too :)
