Maybe she branched out in later years. I just always associate her with French food.

And apologies for explaining the cooking process. I missed that you had made them before.
No need to apologize, why should you know I’d made them before? (Unless you’re a mind reader, and then... I have some questions for you lol). I have rather eclectic taste buds, a pastry chef for a MIL, daughter married to a chef, and I spent part of my college years in England. Plus, I just love to cook.

I may have to swim across the ocean and knock some sense into the FT cs crew. I have a lost package, gave them the dates shipped, and last seen. “It’s within the standard shipping window”. Since when is 55 days an acceptable shipping time? It went awol,in NYC 41 days ago.
Rant over, shine on Shinies! In better news the BB has made it from Canada to N.D. Should be here next Monday (says UPS )

Same expression I have when I see a shiny shiny package being delivered.
Please, dear friends Down Under, don’t tell me these are vicious or something. They’re adorable!

Well its happened, no not the late developing maturity some who have known me or 20 years have waited for to set in, finally...

No, my 1st vapemail in 3 years....

Got carded by the post office, so had to leave the house to go and pick it up from them...

Back from what passes for reality

Unimpressed by it as usual

Back in the coccoon

The results of the grand opening of my 1st vapemail in 3 years....behold

4r5NMFg.jpg

1 X Aegis Solo (in totes black of course)
1 x 250ml VK VG
2 x 30ml soft dropper bottles (because ive had these horrible hard stubby hard to open things from a local shop which their VG comes in for too many months)
and, wait for it, because its like 3 years + since i had a flavour....and these two i know i generally like, in small bursts:
1 x 10ml Raspberry concentrate
1 x 10ml Menthol concentrate

Yes, one of the biggest proponents ever of unflavoured (have you got a moment to talk to me about unflavoured?) has finally got some flavour in house 3+ years after his last dabble with one

How does the Aegis vape?, at 195c ill give it a pretty darn smooth, but not TreeBox Mini level TC goodness - the TB had about the highest TC sampling rate ever seen, only the DNA had higher, if only just. But it gets a pass from me. Learned the menu in 15 seconds, because theres not many options lol....feel spoiled on the TB by comparison, sooo many options, and in a screen half the width and a few mm shorter, makes me wonder at just how well Smok did on that tiny thing, yet all their other mods suck ballz....

Heres a pic by way of comparison with the TB, the Aegis is a tad shorter. near as makes no difference the same depth, and about 4mm wider. Did notice that extra girth is to sport a 510 that will house my 25mm Tripod comfortably, but yes, ive had a 25mm tank on the TB before

Just a bit top heavy for the light little wooden box. And yes, thats currently the only atty i own, my last Lemo 2

Envy it

The wife's 60th birthday arrived..in lock down. We made do with what we have. She made a carrot and I a chocolate cake. No flower shops open so foraged in the sparse autumn vegetable garden to make lovey a bouquet...artichoke leave, parsley/lettuce/chive flowers, lemon grass and the only four flowers I had in the garden now
She's happy as though :D

hwy did i think cloudy is a flavour term.. muted and fuzzy? weak and dispersed? like it's over diluted..

Cloudy isn't a term most of associate with muted or weak flavor. Shaking won't mute flavor but the bubbles will make it look cloudy for awhile. Have you been using a flavor you are very familiar with? Are you adjusting air flow and wattage to find a sweet spot outside of your normal settings? Have you played with coil placement? Always keep in mind that everything about build, juice, and af is subjective to the individual. Just because certain settings are fantastic for one doesn't mean it will be fantastic for you. Vaping truly is a journey about finding your own sweet spot. Try just changing one thing at a time, if you change up several things at once you'll have a hard time figuring out what is and isn't working for you.

not the subjective thing again_ i never know what's meant when that's invoked sounds like 'somethings you won't like even done right' but in this context, at a point where there's a potential objective problem, you might as well mean 'something you'll never do right' :(.
nay given how many times you in pparticular have help_ have toubleshoote_ troubleshot -thereya go!- how many times you troubleshot me given that there must be a common standard

gonna play with adjustments today we'll see. sorry abt confusing hings with cloudy"

feck, takes longer to catch up than it does to steep non fruity juices :p

a wise person once told me that to test ejuice mixes on an RDA, you only need to stick in a small length of cotton - you don't need big long normal RDA tails.

So for testing now, I stick in a strip, pull it through until there's 1cm poking out the end of the coil, and cut to give me 1cm tails each side. Test the juice, pull it out. Then reinsert the long strip, repeat the previous steps, til I've tested all the mixes.

To get your .blank RDA as it should be for normal vaping however, just use an ejuice (if you still have one) that you already know how it tastes. Practice your full wicking/coil technique with that.

dumbass... i was wasting wick that's why i kept using the tester wick after returning to my normal juice..

@virm what total percentages are you using. I tend to keep my DIY juice to 15-20 % totals but store bought juice can be much higher.....are you sure it's not that?

If so you'll get used to it as your palate adjusts :)

interesting.. flavour percentage in total mix you mean? checked my calculator.. never exceeded 7%. one shots i used mostly dosed 10-12%. hmmm.

    i need to get up
    drink something first
don't you ppl push me to vape on a dry mouth and empty stomach dontchoo!!:rules:

No. They are friendly to their own detriment. They live in one little pocket out west. The local tourist industry is basically quokka driven, and people feed them hooman food that are not good for them.

No no no, dear. Subjective means personal preference.

Taste is subjective. I may like chocolate and peanut butter, and perhaps you don’t.

I use about 10% total flavor. Some like less, some like more. If your juice tastes weak, use a little higher percentage. Trial and error will get you there.

And yes, some use a different wicking technique for testing flavors. I don’t. I wick as usual. There’s no law says you gotta do it one way or the other.

Well i really had to discourage you from offering me the Epetite back, so buying an Aegis Solo i thought was a fitting full stop to my tiny mod needed/wanted saga :)

You'll be glad to know i think it will be staying here (for people new to my vape buying process, i will often hatepost stuff back to whence it came within a day, sometimes hours of receiving it) as while the Aegis fires rapidly (not overly fond of, like me a build up), it doesnt do stupid preheat...1st thing i always turn off on DNA boards. So while it hits quicker than my TB, it doesnt cook my juice. Theres not many settings in an Aegis and none for preheat, so just as well :)

I'll let you now what the Tripod is like when it arrives, it should finally leave FT tomorrow....so add 10-14 days after that for arrival :) One of my other packages (ironically containing the Tripod Extension Kit when for China to the Netherlands and hasnt move din 5 days)

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries

I admittedly dabble in natural flavours. But none of this artificial nonsense
