Morning all!

My Dotsquonk is on the move, and that’s going to have to be the last of my shiny shopping for a while. I’m gonna tidy up the sewing room today, because I ordered a new sewing machine. The old one is not going to handle making masks. And, true to form, the shop has a big sale on embroidery machines so I ordered one of those as well. Cost as much as a used car but it was 40% off! Couldn’t walk away from that. And it’s not how much ya spend, it’s how much ya save, am I right?

The reason this surprises me is because I felt like you already had the big daddy of sewing machines. If you saw what I was making masks on you would die

regardless of opposing politics, Don was kind enough to make and send me some coils for when my MS is acting up pretty bad. Wish we could just keep politics out of these general threads.
Yep well said Sara.

Don and I are probably far apart on the political spectrum but I respect and like the guy. I enjoy the diversity of this forum/thread. Keeps life interesting. As long as you respect me, I respect you.

In my Axials i've settled for 0.5×0.2 Kanthal flat wire (Ange put me on to it...love it). I've tried some exotic coils, but they take to long to heat up. That don't sit well with me.
The above wire produces oodles of flavor and heats up in an instant.
I like Ni80 Aliens or tri core fused claptons in my Axials. Single coil 3mm or 3.5 mm.
Great flavour and the ramp up time of Ni80 is quick

goodbye
Good morning Shinyville! Doing something a little different for the family photo today. My son Matthew took 12 years of piano lessons, and I love to listen to him play. Today I'll share a couple videos of him playing piano. They are from a few years ago, but they are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

oh that's not bad at all_ just might join the team then , thank you
Keep in mind I prefer a cooler vape and use citrus heavy not sweet juices. If I were vaping a toffee icecream or sweet coffee juice I'd run the coil closer to 50w.

Oh, my sewing machine is a $100 PRW from Walmart lol. 10 years old, really impressive for such a cheapie. But it’s just not having it with the elastic in the masks. I’ve upgraded to a Pacesetter. Still, just a moderately priced domestic, but should more than suffice for my needs.

I did buy a really expensive Singer, supposed to do everything. Piece of junk. Couldn’t sew a straight stitch. Sent it back and got the PRW, lol.

Last year I got the embroidery machine, and it’s great but the hoop size is rather limiting. The one I ordered has the biggest hoop you can get with a domestic machine, larger than some multi needles. It’ll be expensive to run though, so I’ll keep the first one for smaller projects.

Yeah got some SS flat to...0.68×0.27. Love its nice clean flavor. I use it often especially when TC. Once again the "issue" for me is the ramp up times.
Then again...it might just be a mindset
No it's not just you; fast ramp up is essential and makes perfect sense. You put the mouthpiece to you lips, press the fire button and the quite logical and normal expectation is that you then start to inhale vapour. Anything else is a lag

First day of Ramadan for your good self isn't it Virmy?

No kanthal for me with the flatwire, I'm using the Ni80.
    Nichrome Rocks:headbang:

yeasssirr... gonna be sad not to spend the evening at the mosque but so were the last feew fridays (the only thing i been personally annoyed by the lackdown_ empathy with those with serious trouble aside)

bright side this year i've gotten more comfortable cooking more skillful eastern-style meals which are better for my stomache than pastas and straight up meats (ppl always talk abt the hunger/thirst/nic craving... no one mentions those other pesky issues)

so no claptons, aliens etc fuer dich? what's your usual size with flat ni80? (i ask because as i understand it one of the issues is being able to handle them)

thanks a much-ie amiche! kept those posts in mi mail box for references

guess i've never had something with such delay as to be annoyed, it's about half a second or so for my cquadcores on blank and i actually find it's alright for my inhalestyle

Project Runway. It’s a Brother line, as are the embroidery machines. I’ve named the new EM Larry. The other ones are all Darryl.
I just want a simple model. Would be thrilled to have the needle threader and thread cutter. Any recommendations?
Enjoying my own Nana Butter today in my Aromamizer (first serious go with this guy since the lung surgery because I was afraid )

I’m no expert but here’s my two cents.

Ignore when told you must use a certain type of coil in a certain atty. you only need to pay attention if they give an approximate size. Only so big or so small a coil will work in an atty.

When I started building, I was just as overwhelmed by choice as you are. Fortunately, wire is cheap, so I bought a bunch of different types and sizes. Built them all from large to small ID, different numbers of wraps. Found something I liked and stuck with it because it worked alright in all my atties.

The only stupid thing I did was not to take notes. I can’t remember what I didn’t like, or why I didn’t like it.

I still try something different if the mood takes me. But for me, it wasn’t a big thrill to tinker, I just wanted what works. And I got there. You’ll get this, I promise.

thanks. yes, the push for these questions was the recommendation that axial be hooked with chunkies because it's sort big enough for dual which i won't do..

otherwise it's curiousity and desire to experiment_ i got my quadcore spool ni80 from wotofo which @AngeNZ chose for me which i just love and a multi set of coilology aside from the stuff that came with tanks

    so yeah_ it's just shinyitis!!:blush::blush:
