hope that aint a siezurer!

i's a drippin' proper now, donno why i m not putting the sqounk pins already_

my axial arrived a-double courtesy of arkansas guys, the second one, meant instead of the one i ordered and had stuck in transit, apparently unclogged the path and the two came together. also the focalecig guys finally came thru, responding only on the paypl platform, not the emails, and i got the sxk reload s today.

as such_ though i expect some tips might change things: the axial i'm finding disappointing, the reload better but both pale in comparison to blank_ guess i'm just always doomed to start out on top :)

i also broke down and went and got the two oneshots i've been trying to replace with my own mixes.

allinall content, the stuff is here and alright and with these juices it can't go wrong.

hows trix?!
Gday Virm. Nice to see your many-toothed grin

Surprised about the Axial - what build are you using?

Seal it up with a lot of desiccant packets and let it sit for a long time? Or shove it in a bag of rice and forget about it for a year? Maybe it will shrink back down to something you can work with.
Thanks Zaz - gonna give that a try

I think my mail carrier went on vacation.
No Pink Colossal yet.

boo-hoooooo :(
I'm still waiting on 2 parcels from China shipped in Feb. One from 3f and one from FT. They might have gone on vacation with your pink Colossal.

Same here. @virm show us your Axial build
Or are you still waiting on it? :w00t:

    hilo lads!

remember i am singling it (not interested in dualing) quadcore n80_ the same i been using on everything.. tried it first with 3 or 3.5 id then went bigger, either 3.5 or 4, biggest i ever used anyway.. still much weaker flavour than blank got me used to.. it's just too big. so it does get better with higher power, but that's another con as a waste of energy. idk if i should just keep adding wraps to up the resistance or order a framed staple/multistrand spool to get the higher resistance (i have some precoiled ones which come to .33~ but these are 3id so theyre too far from AF).

it/s also leakable with movement coz of the direct AF.. tried it with really long wicks and tried shortening to make some welling room. this is my first time strictly dripping so maybe the leaking would be better squonking. just can't imagine putting in my pocket (when i'm vaping during the daytime again)..

3mm id coils may look too far from the airflow in the Axial but they work great.

Single coil atties, the good ones, are great. Buying a few dual coil rebuildable attis is a good idea too. I have 30+ single coilers based on what I liked, and they're great (thanks @AngeNZ, and @ShowMeTwice, among many, many other helpful people), but lately, I've enjoyed duals alot. The Armageddon Redemption, the Axial (which you have, does dual with some fiddling), Dead G.O.A.T., so far these are my favorites. Nice to have options if your tastes change, which they might in time.

You are kind. I know it can be annoying when someone makes obvious suggestions. It just pains me that your Pumper is poorly, so I had to throw in a couple of self-evident cents.

well i do now have two axials in case i decide to test it. just don't want to change batteries all the time. plus i'm not one for too much air. but yea, i do have the option..

it's alright, but not like blank is all. plus theyre both not as 'spongy' (grimm green uses the term, i think he means what i always liked abt elevate and now blank, something about the traveling AF gives the vape a thickness).
it's the lopsided thing too, when i shift to 2 holes, which is better for me. leave which side with the two, the wick side or the clear one?
shifting to axial (from reload) now, fast starts in a bit.
do up a pic of it wicked when yous get a chance will ya? (goes for all yous here_ i know you got'em, now line em up!)

    hi robbie!
If you aren't wanting to up the wattage then try a simple twisted wire build. Adding more wire isn't going to help without the wattage imo. Could try a flat/round single wire parallel build as well.

    Welcome back Virmy

You may prefer the .blank as it is a top airflow type of rda - so more similar to your Elevate RTA.

I run my Axial with a tiny 2.5mm or 3.0mm id coil. The pics below are of the 2.5mm id, 5 wrap 0.5mm x 0.2mm flat wire coil.

    Coil Height:

    axialnekkid.jpg

This is what works for the way I vape. I'm not doing big RDL inhales, I'm doing MTL inhales, with those 3 airflow holes all open.

I figured the right height for me was 5.5mm legs. Once I had a coil installed, I slapped the cap on, opened it up to the full cyclops airflow, and using a thin metal skewer I poked it in the airflow hole to figure out where air would hit my coil. I wanted it to hit just a tad below the coil and most of it to hit the bottom area of the coil. With my teeny coil, 5.5mm legs worked. With my 3mm id coil, 6mm legs work.

Try a 3mm id coil, with 6mm legs and see how you go. Also, if you want to keep it at 3 holes open, try a more restricted drip tip.
