Good morning Charlie! Good to hear things are starting to return to a semblance of normality over there. I hope it turns out well. Last Friday, the 8th, we started what's called Phase 1 towards normal also. The malls, churches, state parks, and some other things re-opened. To be honest, I'm skeptical of this decision. I know people want to get back to normal, but at the cost of what? A good 50% or more of the people around here aren't wearing masks or gloves already. I am just going to hang back, and see what happens. I don't leave the house except for necessities, and when I do, I take care of as many things in one trip as I can....of course protected with mask and gloves. I still have over a quarter tank of gas in my car from a fill up almost two months ago.
As you know, I am a Realtor, and on top of that, I am a very socially active person. This stay at home stuff goes against my very nature, and I want life to return to normal as much as anyone. But, I also don't want to see things get worse than they already are. I'm hoping for a vaccine to come out soon, and also that people act sensibly with the new freedoms we are being given. One can only hope. Right? Our government is struggling with this, to put it mildly. I'm glad I'm not the one who has to make the decisions to fix this.
How about you Charlie? Is your personal situation getting any better? I would be grief stricken if anything worse happened to you. You've been through so much already. You are someone I look forward to seeing here when I check in. I hope your doctors are being diligent in their treatment getting you back to good health and happiness, and looking forward to your day. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers daily sir. Take good care Charlie!
