Good morning shiners! It's been a hectic couple of days around here, but everything is OK. I did manage to buy 8 more 18650 Moli's from 18650batteries for $3.49 each. That's the lowest I've seen them for, and my older several year old batteries are reaching the end of their extended lifespan. And my very last flavored commercial juice is on its way after sneaking and order out a day before the NY ban hit. I went through what I have, and found I stocked up about 2.5L of commercial juice. I think it's going to be a long time before I start mixing again.
my guess is a year, might need a refresher coarse by then.;)

Good morning shinies

It's the wee small hours here but feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed. Vaping some nice homemade Tribeca in one of the Dvarw's with some peppermint strawberry in a BB and Xeta on hand too.....

I have 3 Billet Box related packages coming in. All three have stopped moving. One has been sitting on the airport in Shanghai for a week, that's not a surprise. One was picked up by Canada Mail on Monday and hasn't moved since. Normally Canada Mail is lightning fast, the last one was out of the country in 3 days. One was due on to arrive on Tuesday but it's lost somewhere between San Diego and Indiana.

Meanwhile a bag of HG2 batteries that I ordered on Monday arrived today, two days ahead of schedule. Nice to have the batteries but really it's the least exciting thing I had out there.

And earlier today I rewicked a STM. Stuck it in my pocket and headed off to the bank to deposit a check. I forgot to fill it, so the only juice in the thing was what I had dripped on the new wick. Half way home I got a red hot lungful.

What size flat wire are you having the best luck with?

I have enough to buy a spool... something for the single battery mechs and our vaping style is similar...

    :)

    Good morning shiny people!

I use 0.5 x 0.2mm the most, but I've only ever found it in a NZ store - which is no help to you at all. I use this @ 20-25 watts

    Next step up is 1.0mm x 0.14mm:
$2.31 Authentic MKWS Kanthal A1 Ribbon Heating Wire - 0.14mm*1.0mm flat size / 30ft (10m) at FastTech - Free Shipping
4 or 5 wrap coils heat up fast @ 25 watts and above. Below that is a slight bit slower, but I'm really impatient with ramp up ;) It's about the equivalent of 25gauge round wire in terms of ramp/wattage.

0.8mm x 0.2mm is pretty much the same, and it's what most US wire companies sell
Spooled 316L Stainless Steel Wire - (Round and Flat Ribbon)
but as that's 316L you may need too many wraps for a lower wattage mech build. I usually run my FT kanthal wire 1.0 x 0.14 @ 0.5ohms for a mech build.

You can get 0.8 x 0.2 from Zivipf in Germany:

    Kanthal
    K-A1 Flat Wire 0.8*0.2mm / .031*.008" - AWG 25

    Ni80
    NiChrome Flat Wire 0.8x0.2mm / .031*.008" - AWG 25

I don't care if you are left, right, upside down or right side up.
Take the politics to the Outside and quit digging crap up to get the last word in.
I'm upside down mostly, not politically, just in general :p
    Hi Classy :)

Yewwh....the dry hit sounds horrible :)

The post is in a mess everywhere. It's been painfully slow in France since the lockdown event and clearly both internal and external flights are very limited too.

I hope your delay sorts itself out soon :)

I love all types of wild fungi but they're notoriously difficult to identify and you can never be absolutely sure you've got it right.

Pharmacist's in France are trained and you are encouraged to take your days pickings in to be checked before having them for lunch :D

We have a lot of Caesar's mushrooms near our house which are delicious but they are the only member of the Amanita genus which is the same family as the deathcap, or the fly agaric. They start off bright red so they are similar to the fly agaric

I do not even know what Emoji to check for that one. We need some new emoji's. We need a hilarious one for Pigs and Virm. We need one for 'that sucks' for instances like this. Or maybe one that says 'just go back to bed'
