Minor victory:

My DOA Vinci X has been sitting in it's box mocking me as I've waited patiently (?) for the replacement on the slow slow boat from Covid FT.
Anyway today I thought why not take it apart and see if I could fix the short...nothing to lose.
Tiny screws removed, chassis disassembled, face plate sticker un-stuck...fiddled a bit, re-assembled and hallelujah. She works.!!!

Sometimes fiddling pays off (with some saucy words). Way to go bud!!! :D

sourcemore still has the asMODus Rose Finch mechs for $23. Last year many of us grabbed one of each. They are high quality mechs and not clones.

Yeah, I grabbed one of those. And I have a Nemesis clone with the kick that I could never get to work. Does that count?

Some folks are saying to get a few mods with the newer batteries because the 18650s are going to go away.

there was quick storm of chunky hail o'er'ier 'mid the Alemanni. had to rush out to rescue the lady's plants, she's left me to tend to'em while she's visiting her family. enjoying the fresh air with a nice strong honey-tobacco on my MD RTA
anyone else caught some odd weather of late?
how's everydubdubdubbies health agongong? all toppitop all i hopes?
Hi Virm, nice to see ya' roundabout. I used to enjoy a honey tobacco very much. Weather is somewhat hot here, storm clouds and blue skies 50/50, plenty of (hot) sunshine and humidity. Odd, not sure, everything is odd lately.

Hey Mr. Virm.

Yep. Not odd weather for here though. Had same nasty thunder storms late last night. The lightning show was, as always, spectacular. Naturally I was out enjoying it all. Fun, fun, fun. Love it.

Better watch and care for her plants or you'll be in the dog house mate. Ask me how I know and learned that lesson, like several times. I about got my you-know-whats chopped off. Buying her new ones saved 'em.

Thanks Ange. Most retailers are fine until they hit a snag then you get to see how good their CS is. I really don't understand how they could be having a problem with their PayPal - as I pointed out to Vapeciga in an email it worked just fine for them to take my USD$ 101 in the first place.
I went through the same thing with FT on a package that was last tracked in February. I just got the refund. I pointed out since they were having trouble making the refund, I’d do a PayPal charge back. Had my refund the next day.

Way to go and they count.

Several here (including Rossum, Mike Petro etc.) do not see 18650's going away. And even many many more of the pro flashlight folks don't either. They are used in a lot of devices besides vapes and flashlights. Power tool battery packs are a big one. Electric cars is another.

Just a hello.
So my A1C happened to come in at 11.1, which is a tad high. This has led to more issues than a magazine stand.

Pain is finally managed. I can walk and work without wanting to harm people. Well, less of a desire to harm people.

In begining of managing diet, which everything I can eat sucks. Really, it sucks.

Insulin and getting numbers where I need them is proving to be a challenge. No matter the diet or exercise I am above 200 while awake, just barely below when fasting. So my frustrations are many. Soon I'm sure I will get to poke myself with fast acting.

Over all, I'm miserably fine. That is I'm better than I was and not as good as I could be. Little to no feeling from knees down and without meds excruciating pain in thighs. So I take my meds.

I've popped in from time to time but have little energy to post and really don't have much to say. I'm honestly only giving an update cause I feel someone may care and my name is at the beginning of this thread.

Stay safe.
I’m sorry Jay. We do care, and miss you when you’re not around. Diets in general suck, but the diabetic list of nonononono seems especially cruel (at least to my brother).

Escribe for DNA and Arctic Fox for Pico are not hard to use. Like anything new it'll take a minute to get used to but then it's like riding a bike. :)

There are many folks here who can help if you need it. I can help you if you get one, just let me know. The JAC Vapour Series-B DNA 75w thread sees a good amount of traffic. Also many knowledgeable folks with Escribe there.

The JAC Vapour Series-B DNA 75w is an excellent mod. Several folks here have them. I have a few. With the ECIGCLICK15 code one can be had for ~$60 USD.

The DNA chipsets are highly accurate in wattage or temp ctrl. Especially when compared to any of the Chinese mods (not using a DNA chip).

ETA: Oh yeah, same goes if you go the Pico route with Arctic Fox. You need help just let me know.
Wow that is really inexpensive and tiny and cute even with shipping from the UK it's still showing pound 60 I've got some decisions to make and maybe a lustro to sell lol to justify a purchase. Thank you again so much I was not aware of this product. I'm going to have to do some digging around I totally didn't think about the smaller companies that produce DNA's

yeah i was ignorant of the gem it was; DLed it when i first got it and it built up to a bad taste after a while_ to MTL it's a dream though. makes it last too, still not even half way thru the bottle and i've had it over 6 months.
