I always liked Bowie, (and still do, don’t get me wrong) but i used to think he was just weird ( weird is great) and now I sense so much darkness in his music. Might just be my perception has changed. I’d love to read a good bio, if there is one.

I saw him at a club in Hollywood when I was 16. we snuck in (actually they looked the other way and let us in.) Rodney Binginheimer (spelling) had a club in Hollywood at the beginning of the glam rock era. He would always allow young girls in. Bowie was very skinny, very tall (huge platform shoes on) and had tons of make-up on. White white face powder. He was not playing just there and in some sort of back room that I was not privy to. He did do one song "starman" but said he did not have his band with him and begged forgiveness for it not being all it could be.
