It's annoying how the dvarrw FL 22mm inserts only fit the FL MTL 22mm and the FL 24mm inserts on fit the FL DL 24mm rta too in the clones.

I wonder what the difference in chimney size is between the MTL and DL versions? @Letitia or @charlie1465 or @ShowMeTwice know?

No, because I got mad at the cloners. I had it in my cart and was checking YT videos for building tips and such and learned that the original Dvarws FL are 24mm, which is my preferred tank size, but all the FL clones are 22mm. Only cloned DL FL version is 24mm. So I gave up.

Mtl inserts are compatible with both size tanks from what I've read.

The inserts for the v2 (MTL) and v3(DL) certainly are, just not the newer FL versions

@AngeNZ NVM my previous ^^^^^^ post. For some reason I had 22mm/24mm MTL FL on the brain. ... Doubled checked and the chimney for the DL FL is bigger (MTL's the same). They don't list the chimney sizes. DL looks taller and maybe a smidge wider, hard for me to tell from the pics.

Must have clicked on the wrong atty in the ft forum. Thanks for the heads up. Thinking I'll pass on it anyway; more than one review stated the dl was pretty restricted wide open.

Still if I can't get at least a pretty loose rdl it will never be used more than once. The clone v3 suits me well already and honestly only wanted the FL for looks anyway. Still peeking at the imperial occasionally but still on the fence.

I think the dvarw thing has got really confusing lately because after many moons khw decided to make some changes to the basic decks and dimensions and probably the clones have followed suit so you now have a big mismatch of different parts available on ft.

So maybe now you'll understand why I didn't order one.

But I know what I want: a new MTL FL clone, 24 mm base, with 1.8, 2 and 2.3 mm inserts. Curious that the cloners chose to keep the 22 mm base for MTL FL version (as opposed to 24 mm original MTL FL). I thought that they usually make 1:1 clones.

Yeah, compatible with all pnp coils. RBA is pnp also.

Hi Rob! I was looking for some information on PnP-RBA and happened on your post. How do you like it? I have a Vinci, but I'm not using it often due to wet feet (not mine, Vinci's). Not really leaks, but there's always moisture gathering under the pod and I've seen reports of Vinci's circuitry shorting due to juice seeping down into the mod. Yikes.

So I was hoping that maybe an RBA coil would be a solution. Some people in the VooPoo subforum claim that it's the coil's o-ring--not the pod--that's too thin/too cheap/not sealing properly.

Any thoughts? @charlie1465 ? @bigbob2322 ? Any other Vinci users?

Does anyone here can compare, briefly, the Dvarw to the Hastur MTL RTA (big, not mini). I already have a Hastur and like it. Hastur pros (in my book): 24mm base, easy to build large deck, 1.6, 2, 2.5mm inserts. Cons--it's big (not a major con), the metal thingy where the DT goes gets too close to my lips and just annoys me, but a longer DT fixes that.

Nope, I stay clear of the Voops. If they somehow create something extraordinary that I can't resist, I might get it, but i'll cover the name before I take it to town...file it off, or paint over it...maybe even hide it in a towel...
