@Katya, sorry, sorry, sorry but I thought of another rta for you to check out. The Coppervape Hussar Project X. It is totally in your AF wheelhouse. Dual sided AFC with three 1.3mm holes on each side (might be 1.4/1.5mm). It's an airy MTL or an excellent restricted DL wide open. $17.17 Coppervape Hussar Project X Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + PEI / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

With all the ones you've been looking at I don't remember if the X was one of those or not. :)

There is also a 4ml tank option, $7.25 Coppervape Replacement 316 Stainless Steel + PEI Extended Kit for Hussar Project X RTA - 4ml at FastTech - Free Shipping

I have a few, they're very nice. Easy to build on and serious bangin' RDA like flavor. Ask @AngeNZ, she loves hers. Also see the Project X thread for much info, tips, build pics and videos etc. throughout.

Just a another option for you to consider. ;)

Thank you so much for reminding me. Hussar Project X and Precisio were once very high on my list (yes, I have a list :)), but then I saw this video (6:45) and it discouraged me, so I decided to skip ultem altogether. I figured that it's not the best choice for Vapocalypse stash because of those fragile threads. Am I wrong? I like ss and glass.

So is NASA.

Mars scientists fail to measure up

"Nasa yesterday had the embarrassing task of admitting that the disastrous loss of its £78m Mars Climate Orbiter last week was due to faulty flight calculations based on the simple failure to convert imperial measurements into their metric equivalents."
They needed the Mercury, Gemini + Apollo Ladies to do the manual calculations. ;)

If you can find me one I'll be your best friend:thumbs:
I've only seen them available in Germany and on special pre-order:(
Behold the Red Brunhilde MTL RTA:wub:

If you were a truly devoted to the all powerful Brunhilde, you would just go to Germany and get one.

Project X doesn't have any threads on the ultem tank section to get messed up. The X is put together very similar to the Dvarw's. Only tank I have with threads are the SJMY 2k16 Doggies. Still on my 1st pmma tank, year old, and the threads are fine.
But ya, ss and glass, yes ma'am.

Good to know, thanks! Hussar's back on the list.

My SMJY Doggy seems very fragile to me--and so bloody tiny. And I'm always afraid of cross-threading.

   Ooooops, I'm sorry. Yes, correction, I DID mean the Ladies. I saw the movie and it was a great one too. Loved how all the "guys" looked at her when she went to town on the blackboard with her calculations.

ETA: Fixed my original post too!!

The Hussar won my battle of the RDL RTAs. Incredible flavour, low profile (in 2ml), dual-sided airflow and an easy deck to coil and wick

Local price here is around the $400 mark (about usd $280 at the current rate) for a mini. I'm not sure I can afford one right now. The signs are ominous though - waking up in the middle of the night and looking at photos on the dicodes site. Don't know how lomg I can hold out
    JUST BUUUUUUYYYYY IT

Yeah, I saw that--but some peeps are complaining that it doesn't work as well as the 2 ml configuration.
Don't think they lubed it up properly and that's why it was stiff. I slop the VG on the o-rings of mine and it rotates smoothly.

    2ml + 4ml X's.

I'm still stunned that they managed to reach the moon...on the imperial system. That in itself is no mean feat
