I read it all. I'm thinking differently about birds now, they're not just wild creatures, but intelligent, compassionate beings. I know of animal therapy for PTSD, the places I'm aware of use horses, dogs, cats sometimes, just not parrots. Interesting that crows have some of the same social abilities as parrots, glad they aren't as pretty, and can avoid capture that way more by lack of human interest.Did you read it? I cried like a baby when I first read it... It's too long and wordy, but so amazing.
It was a long read, but I don't think too long, touching is what it was. The ability that parrots have to empathize with human beings, and not just mirror behavior, is amazing. This my longer version of thank you.
