and in case you missed it I got the Artery Pal II Pro and you were the enabler 
Love that thing, zero leaking, clear pod and hit like a truck. Ideal for carry around and work.
@AngeNZ they say (you know these shiny ppl aka enablers) you can MTL anything, well I have discovered I can RDL to DL anything including any MTL set up

The baby flat wire I use is Thunderhead Creations kanthal 0.5mm x 0.2mm. But I've only ever seen it in an online store here in NZ, which is no use to you

I almost did that but I realized that the actual building deck is the same size on the original MTL FL 22 and 24 mm atties. Only the 24mm DL FL has a larger building deck. So I decided to get the MTL FL with all the inserts and see how I like it. The lack of external AFC is still a con for me, at least for now. I love my external AFC, especially of the dual kind.
Decision made.
Not Redbird, but I don't think so. I have the original Zenith (not Pro) and two Zlides (big and little). Zenith has 5 little holes on the AFC ring, the Zlides have 4 a bit larger holes. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. I don't use that Zenith anymore--I prefer big Zlides.
I do the same. But I'm a chronic adjuster, so I don't even know how many holes I have open most of the time. I adjust AF and wattage until I'm happy.

Wow! That's advanced. I have no idea how it works, but looks interesting. Alas, I'm afraid that we're running out of time for innovations.
It's a very good RTA.....I like my tripods tooJust ordered Tripod RTA no. 2 from FT, and some glass for it. That's a pretty good indication of how much I love it
@charlie1465 . don't you miss adjustable external AFC in your Dwarves? Somehow, I can't even imagine an RTA without it.

Thought I might try and build my Skyline RTA clone today which is a really well made piece of kit. There are some minor differences in the air hole design but nothing which should make much difference.
I watched Mark Todd's build video and wicking seems really simple. He had been putting a bit of cotton in to fill the gap in the deck opposite the two posts and coil but in the video he decided to leave it out.
Has anyone had any experience with this.....?? Mines the DL version and I don't want any leaks if I can help it, obviously.
Before watching the video I was thinking of leaving long tails to lay in there but Mark was right to just touch the bottom of the deck out of the end of each coil as the coil ends are right opposite the juice fill holes. The OG was an 175 Euro RTA when it came out and is supposed to have as good a flavour as the Dvarw, Hussar, Kayfun etc so I don't want to get this wrong
